This is a very nice, lighthearted coming of age drama. The actors did a good job bringing their characters to life and there was good chemistry among the characters. Although the romantic relationships take forever to develop, the drama’s strength is on the overall relationship among the main and supporting characters and how strong they become as they straight into adulthood. Although this drama is great, it is not without a fault. Even though the leading couple has a great symbiotic relationship with a fluffy romance, healthy communication, fun interaction, and a steadfast love, the only thing that was frustrating about the them is that there are too many times of interrupted kisses that ruined the fluffiness of their romantic synergy; it would have been better to continue with their great hugs and forehead kisses than to see her flustered and scared body language as he tenderly approaches to kiss her. Besides that, the drama is absolutely fantastic, friendships are loyal and Nan Xi (Fiction Guo) and Xia Rui (Wan Peng) are truly soulmates who are destined to be together and their journey is enchanting; from the moment that they realized who they were as children and all the way to the end, their relationship is inextricably linked and delightful to watch. This is an absolutely cute drama. The actors did very well bringing their characters to life. It is a light-hearted fantasy romantic comedy with a female lead full of cute silliness, a child like personality, and emotionally challenged due to the fact that she is an alien. Even so, her character starts to warm up towards the male lead that, under the façade of a cold personality, falls deeply in love with her. The main leads interactions are full of hilarious circumstances and some heart tugging moments. The only criticism about the drama is that their romantic moments were toned down. The male lead was great in creating the right atmosphere but the female lead was too shallow when kissing. Having said that, the leading actors have a good rapport and beautiful moments as they embrace each other. Overall, it is a fun, lighthearted drama to watch. Enjoy it!

This is a drama with lots of well delivered action and fantasy. Although there’s a romantic storyline for the main leads, they failed to deliver because of the lack of chemistry. The supporting cast did fairly well but their romantic storylines also flatlined. There are too many inconsistencies with the cast supernatural abilities when they were supposed to be the best on their superpower and they failed to use it to protect themselves (i.e. how a high level cultivator gets slapped three times and can’t deliver one single blow?) The story drags and gets convoluted with too many subplots and supporting cast’s storylines. The ending, although a happy one, is rushed and unimpressive.

This is a very nice and sweet drama to watch. Although the he leading couple has good chemistry, it took a little bit too long for the couple to become romantically involved but the relationship’s development was strong and steadfast. Their romantic scenes got better towards the end and it was pleasant to see how they communicated well when dealing with misunderstandings. The saving grace for the leading couple is that they are genuinely warm and caring and they did not stray from their goal of making their relationship work in spite of their differences, which gave this drama a great sense of comfort and affability as they support and love each other. Although there are two other romantic stories among the supporting cast, they did not take over the leading couple’s love evolution. Even though the drama is full of clichés, nothing is overdone or detrimental to the story. Overall, this is a nice and sweet drama to watch. Give it a try, it is entertaining!

This is a Chinese wuxia and fantasy drama that could have been so much better if the main leads would have developed a good chemistry, but they failed to deliver the feeling of a great love story. The drama has enough twists and turns to keep the viewers watching but it got repetitive and boring towards the middle. The drama’s plot is really interesting but the acting lacked sincere show of emotions. The female lead did the best out of all the main characters, emotion wise, but she had a much better chemistry and warmth with the Emperor Rong Qi. Leo Luo (Rong Qi) was possibly the second best main actor on this drama. Even though his character was supposed to be cold and manipulative, his eyes displayed all his beautiful and steadfast love for Ron Le. This drama had a lot of potential but it is full of missed opportunities to make the story and the feelings believable. The ending feels rushed and uneventful.

This is a very good dramedy with a nice and steadfast romantic story between the main leads. This story was adapted based on the novel "The Fake Princess" by Shui Sheng. This drama tells the story of the romance between a crown prince and a mountain bandit who is forced to pretend to be someone else and ends up marrying the crown prince. As the couple start to encounter a series of dangerous events, they begin to develop feelings that bring them to support and comfort each other. Although the drama is label a historical comedy and it does have some funny moments, it also has a dramatic flare. The leading couple have good chemistry but their romantic scenes are a little bit lacking. Still, the drama is quite entertaining and episode 13 highlights the main actors' great potential. Enjoy it!

This drama is the Thai version of the Korean drama "Secret Garden". This adaptation is poorly written and, even though this version shows more romantic scenes between the leading couple, they lack chemistry throughout the entire drama. There's also the omission of the two other romantic side stories that gave depth to the drama and the omission of the great comedic tone from the Korean version. This production also lacks character development and the intensity of the relationship that the leading couple developed through their many interactions. The writer omitted a lot of important details and the action scenes were poorly acted.

Great drama! Where Stars Land is a series that presents the lives of workers at Incheon Airport and conflicts with passengers and coworkers as well as the romance that ensues between Han Yeo Reum and Lee Soo Yeon. There is mystery, action, airport related conflicts, and romance. Apart from having a good storyline and great actors, the lead couple, Lee Je Hoon (as Lee Soo Yeon) and Chae Soo Bin (as Han Yeo Reum), has great chemistry. The story is interesting and Lee Je Hoon rendered his character brilliantly! Although it has a happy ending that could’ve been better, the drama is a really entertaining. Enjoy it!

This is a very good drama. It is a romantic comedy but the dramatic moments and their effect on the characters involving conflicts and emotions is what makes this a good show to watch. The actors did a great job delivering their characters, the leading couple has very good chemistry and definitely Eleanor Lee as Liu Nuan Nuan is absolutely brilliant bringing her character to life. There is great character development on this drama and the diversity of the leading lady’s character who is ambitious yet easygoing, enthusiastic, warm, funny and also super lovable (episode 23- her response after he asks for Intel on her parents), compassionate, and dependable gives the drama a wholesome mood. There’s also the leading male, Leon Leong as Han Che, whose cold demeanor and low emotional intelligence evolved into a determined, supporting, and steadfast support toward Nuan Nuan. One great aspect of this drama is that the difficulties and obstacles that are part of the plot are resolved quickly and the story flows nicely after recovery. Overall, this is a great and entertaining drama. Enjoy it!

This is a good fantasy period piece. The plot is solid and interesting. This drama has action, revenge, friendship, royal family feuds, and a leading couple that is fun to watch. The actors were not great delivering their characters but there are moments that allow the viewer to see their acting progress and potential. The leading couple showed good chemistry development throughout the drama but, for been so deeply in love, their intimate moments lacked credibility; it was more a deep self-sacrificing loving relationship that developed through their association than an ardent romance. The drama would’ve been better if it was done with fewer episodes since the story dragged marred by repetition of incidents and the overuse of flashbacks. Still, it is a nice drama to watch while waiting for a great one to come! *Although the end is ambiguous, it is up to the viewer to believe that she took her bracelet back from her friend Gu Qi Shao! ; )

If you are looking for a lighthearted drama with some fairly good action, youthful school antics, quite funny comedic moments, great camaraderie among the five friends, and a cute romance, you might enjoy this drama. It is basically an uptake of the Korean period drama Sungkyungkwan Scandal (2010), that, although not of the same production quality, it is entertaining. The drama has a quintet of students that find themselves in the same elite academy Shangyi Guan, become friends, and get involved in solving crimes and political upheavals among the palace. The cast did a good job even if it was not the best of their acting. The drama is nice and enjoyable.

This review is for Season 1 and 2. This drama is about palace politics and betrayals. The main characters are trapped by the delusions of the emperor and the princes all fall under the schemes of the bad guys. This is not a love story, although there is a main romantic plot and some other side stories, the plot is more about the fight for the throne. The story is poorly written and the characters went from almost comedic to dark and depressing on the second season. The best acting comes from the antagonist; the rest of the cast did not perform so well and the end, and the good guys end tragically. The leading lady went from very smart on the first season to someone lacking good judgment. Overall, the drama is not that good!

This drama is a nice and latest wuxia adaptation of Si Da Ming Bu by Woon Swee Oan also known as Wen Rui'an.The drama is full of action scenes, good CGI’s, intrigue, revenge, mystery, and a little bit of romance. The story follows four constables with superior martial arts skills and strong sense of justice as they fight different sorts of enemies to maintain peace. The drama is about the four constables and their antics to solve crimes. The chemistry among the constables is great and, although each one has a love interest and storyline, the leading couple is Hans Zhang as Leng Xie, Prince of the Wolf tribe and Janine Chang as Chu Limo / Chu Ying Xue, who has her mother’s gift of reading people's minds. The evil antagonist is An Shi Geng (Mickey He) who does a great job creating havoc all over to keep the constables busy. All actors did a great job bringing their characters to life; with an honorable mention to Wang Hai Xiang as Yu Chun Tong, An Shi Geng’s “sheeple”. Although there are some unresolved issues, unknown fates, and the fact that the drama is not a romantic story, if the drama is taken as an action and adventure story, it is quiet entertaining. Enjoy it!

“Perfume” is an excellent production! The drama, although not perfect, is fun, heart wrenching, heartwarming, innovative, surprising, and a real treat to all the senses. The cast was phenomenal bringing their characters to life. Even though Go Won Hee performed very well as Min Ye Rin, the character that rounded the drama and gave depth to the story is really Min Jae Hee, portrayed by the amazing Ha Jae Sook, which is a very talented actress and she gave a stellar performance. Last but not least, Shin Sung Rok. His portrayal of Seo Yi Do as a quirky, sometimes childish and other times a profound and intense man brought the drama to a full circle. The drama is not about fat shaming but it shows the pain and frustration that can potentially leads a person to his/her doom when the people that you love is ashamed of you simply because you’re overweight, and also the inner struggles of this particular person about not been able to come out of the shell that she created for herself to escape the harsh reality of been shunned by your love ones and society. The drama is really romantic but it lacks passion among Seo Yi Do and Min Ye Rin on their romantic scenes. It is all much better when Seo Yi Deo is with Min Jae Hee; there is a sparkle on his eyes and so much tenderness, if only they would have share a kiss, the drama would’ve been perfectly finished showing the real love between Seo Yi Do and Min Jae Hee. Still, a great drama, enjoy it!
