The Villain Won
God where to start....I usually don't write reviews, but I need to rage. This made me what to scream my head off!
I thought I was going to go insane before I even finished the story and only finished it out of spite. The entire show is essentially everyone abusing the female lead, Pan, and taking her for granted. The first part where the two leads hated each other was bearable, but after they got married is really when my blood started to boil. Pol was her abuser there is no other way to say it. He is a criminal just as much as the villains. I don't even want to mention what happened after the time skip. Everyone literally gaslighted Pan into getting back with her abuser. Even the kid annoyed me. I don't think I had a single character I liked. I also don't know how Pan managed to stay sane. Anyways this is not a love story it's horror and the monsters won.

Let's be honest, it's mid.
Story:Starting with the story, it's all over the place. I felt like I was watching 3 different shows. The first part is when Laor is trying to steal the gemstone. This part was fine. It was nothing special. The classic one person fools the other to get what they want and then they fall in love, etc. I was ok with this part of the story. It was a bit boring though. The second part is when they're in the forest trying to find the temple. What was the point of this part?! Why the hell was it so long?! I get that they were trying to repair the relationship between Laor and Phu, but it was way too long for its own good. It was so boring that I skipped most of it. The climax felt rushed and didn't live up to all the tension that was built. The last part was finding out how Laor is related to the Devaphrom. I know why they did it. They had to make her related to the Dhevaphroms somehow, but it was highly convoluted and unnecessary.
Acting:
It was ok. The main leads had no chemistry, however. They did not make me believe they were in love with each other. I was more convinced that Laor was in love with Sun than Phu. Gulf was holding up the emotions betweenthe couple for me. All Gina gave me was blank stares and no emotion, but I did like the scenes where she was grieving for Sun. That was the only time I felt her emotions. I liked the supporting cast's acting much better. Orm(Kanthika), Peterpan(Sun), Smith(Satarassamee), and even Artz(Nutjari) were much more believable in their acting than the main cast. Kanthika probably being my favorite among all the characters because she just seemed so natural in her role.
Music:
I liked the music. I wouldn't listen to it outside of the show, but it went with the atmosphere and theme of the show. The prequel's opening was much better though.
Rewatch:
No, thank you. I'd rather watch their parents' love story.
Overall:
Mid.

A whole lot of nothing
Let's do this by categoryStory: It started off with a premise. There were a lot of mysteries to unfold and each character looked like they had a story that would later play an important part in the plot. Well, that was all a lie. The story ended in a whole lot of nothing. Let's start with the main characters. Pawinee marries her brother-in-law after her sister dies. This should have been a huge moral dilemma for her, but it was barely mentioned by anyone but her father. I understand at first it was for revenge, but what about later, she didn't even think about it. Also, her trauma from the accident was cleared up so easily when it was the biggest card the mother-in-law had against her. Also, the things she did for revenge didn't even really feel like revenge at all, they were more like pranks. Then there was Nai. He was literally just there like an accessory to Pawinee. He also didn't even have a second thought about falling in love with his sister-in-law so soon after his wife's death. Honestly, Nychaa and Pon were wasted on this cause I know they have chemistry with Plerng Prang Tian. I didn't hate the side stories with Net/Trai and Tom/Lita, but they needed less screen time. Finally, the mother-in-law was forgiven way too quickly. There were also so many questions left unanswered like what actually happened with Srrikanda.
Cast: I didn't have any particular problems with the casting choices. Nychaa has definitely improved her acting since she started. I know Pon is not a bad actor, but his character was so bland and weak. I think that's just how the character was written. I actually liked the mother-in-law's acting. The actress portrayed her well. The side characters did fine too.
Music: don't remember, so I guess I didn't have a problem with it.
Rewatch: No thanks, I'll rewatch their other dramas.
