This is the 2nd one of the three shows in the Wang Chao series. And my personal favorite.
I know mydramalist has more Kdrama and Kdrama fans but these ones are my personal favorites. I love them both! Kdrams for the bibimbab effect (a little of everything) and Jdramas for the great information.
Nastalgic reasons but also cause my favorite genre for Chinese drams are still historicals.

- story can be better, but the character relationship and actors amazing work and chemistry won me over 200%!

- Satisfying ending!
- More girls should watch this and more guys should learn from Min Hyuk
I did wish they further explored the woman's equality issues but Min hyuk truly showed how you should treat a woman. True men are secure and appreciate a strong woman. Not pressuring but treat her and each other with respect.

Started my Korean drama journey. All the cliches were so fresh back than. Still love how balanced the female and male leads are. More dramas need to learn from this. So much family and heart. Love the dad! Though I felt unfair unfair for the female lead I still love how she persuaded what she loved. Though in real life I would still want her to choose her self more! That boy won a freaken lottery!

High points for originality! In drama land. It was more complex and challenged you to think instead of spoon feeding you. I love it! Suspenseful as heck.
Acting on point! Female leads need to be able to bring me in and Han Hyo Joo did a brilliant job! She suffered so much but she pulled through. LJK is beautiful and truly fits his idealistic Manhua looks. MVP is DAD! He made this show a thriller! San bong and Mad dog were such needed life lines in this heavy hitter. Hugs!
Writernim - you can shoot a movie, an American show (with series) and do what ever you want now cause I respect your originality. W may not be perfect but it was a brilliant move towards the right direction. Hopefully one that more dramas would step towards. Your skill of taking an used group and then spin it a fresh is also much appreciated.
Direction: exceed expectations. I liked she was pretty alright but this brings it up another level!
Production: deserves an award! Movie level lighting and Sound (expected from signal music director!) Special Effects team deserve an award!
