But in general I did not like the actors as well it was very short I felt there was something missing

the story tells about the suffering of gays in forming a family, I think this aspect is important.
We all read stories expecting that gay lives are perfect, but in this film the show their problems and the daily struggles between a gay father trying to protect his son. Of course, the film did not cover all aspects of their lives but only a fraction of their problems.
