Both are comedy-centric with slight romance stories written by the same screenwriter and starred by TOKIO members. Supporting characters in both dorama also share roughly similar quirky antics. It's just so funny to watch how they all interact.
Two projects in both movies (Radio drama and Robot show) basically got into trouble because some bosses want to make themselves cool, demanding unreasonable tasks and putting subordinates into trouble. Those people in projects also want to save themselves, in turn causing a lot of hilarious chaotic moments of improvisation. Sounds silly, but that's just human nature and both movies presented these elements very well.

Both are mystery drama, centering an incident from past. There are also loose similarities between them - most notably on the rate of story progression, character settings and glimpses into the lives (current vs past situations) of main characters. Reverse focuses more on the characters' involvement in the past incident while Gekiryu is more about present time.
Sand Chronicle is adapted from manga whilst Norwegian Wood is from a famous novel. Both are loosely similar, main characters knowing each other since high school days, having experienced long-lasting trauma and their future being shadowed by it. Both movie will leave you with some kind of feelings, although endings are different.

The initial situations that main leads have to face are quite similar instantly drown to the rock bottom from being at the peak of their career and personal lives. Although PRICELESS has a significantly lesser intensity and thriller in the story, both are definitely worth watching.
