Reasonably good narrative, until halfway through, then “meh”.
Up to episode 8 I thought the show was really good, I liked the “suspense” and the narrative was somewhat good (mainly in the aspect of problems with depression and PTSD), but at the end of EP 8 I confess that I almost gave up on the show, I only convinced myself to continue after reading the next chapters synopses (which I hate doing, ever) and skipping episode 9. I'm currently on episode 11, but I'm tired. This shouldn't be such a long story, especially with all this random drama after the main plot was wrapped up (in a very rushed way) in EP 7.P.s. After writing this “review” while I was still watching the series, I thought it best to drop it, 5 more hours of this is too much.

40 episodes is really a lot, when more than half of the series is filler
the main story is kinda good, but 40 episodes is a lot.I was very disappointed with the last few episodes (I wanted to see ML's friend receive a good dose of karma)
Beside that, I'm not a big fan of a series within a series, so I found these moments completely unnecessary (sometimes 2 scenes during a single episode) where I'm watching a series derived from ML's script.
But the story was good enough, more realistic than some, but the execution was a bit all over the place.
A phrase I found myself saying to a friend several times during basically all of the episodes is how a lot happens, but at the same time, nothing really happens most of the time.
And finally, the entire budget went to all of the “series” within the series and that is why there are moments with poor audio and questionable image quality, especially in the first episodes. But other people might not notice, since I'm kind of strict when it comes to production quality. For me, this series has the recording quality of a 2015 series.

This story hits hard when you've been through some bad things.
I found myself watching this story for the poems/books, the plot itself is good, but the healing journey is what kept me going until the end.It kept me going because I'm on a healing journey myself and the stories in the books moved me in a way that I ended up buying them even though I can't read Korean lol
Especially The child who feeds on nightmares and The Cheerful Dog
I really liked the way in which the various types of relationships are shown especially the relationship between the brothers and the best friend.
The plot that comes with the FL's mother is interesting, but that's not why I watched this series.

Good until episode 28
The premise of the story is interesting, I watched it because I thought it would be different, but I was forced to finish it because I had already invested a lot of time in watching it.I like the way the main characters' relationship develops, but it's not worth 36 episodes. Too many loose ends in the subplots, or am I the one who gave up and didn't pay attention...
Kinda disappointed with the final. I think that a sad ending would be more appropriate, given the overall story. I know that everyone wants a happy end, but me and my friend agreed that this series last 6 episodes was kinda wasted.
I don't like it when the story is purposely made to make the protagonists' union seem more deserved and earned. At least make it a short story, don't drag it out for 36 episodes.
And one more thing, the way ML's best friend humiliates himself for the girl is revolting, I almost stopped watching this series seeing the way he was acting.
