Some flaws, but a great series

First the music
I really liked the music in that film. I think it added a lot to the story. It complements the story so well. It’s great.

I think that in the stories shown, each individual represented a social phenomenon that was unfolding. You have to look at the stories far beyond the “punished” people, see what they represented. In the first episode especially with the pregnant boy, he was an example in particular but it pushes us to think about pregnancy and teenage sexuality in general and how society treats pregnant teenagers.
It was very interesting. And on the hazing episode, Kaye is not the only one to be charged, it is also the comrades with him, the university administration in general and what he represents. It is not enough to kill a single individual to stop harassment, it is necessary to address established systems and values. Question these values and their presence/significance in today’s society. And this is especially seen with the old-fashioned school episode and the director’s choice to film in black and white. Black and white represents the applied rules/values of this school that dates back to another time. When students leave school but the world is still grey, it means that the world, too, is still holding on to outdated values that no longer apply in our modern society.
All in all, it’s a very interesting series with lots of analogies to today’s world. And if you think about it carefully, and instead of Nanno, you put someone who can’t be resurrected. We see how terrible these stories are and how in real life, there is no avenging angel to punish the “evil ones. ”
WEAKNESSES
I do however regret the fact that the series doesn’t go further in demonstrating the horror of that, that these situations happen in real life and on that point, I much prefer season one where the catharsis worked better than in season two. Whereas in season one, the focus was more on the story of ordinary people, and thus encouraging us to think about these situations in real life, in season two, the focus is more on Nanno and Yuri and I, personally, think that the empathy towards the characters is not as stronger as in season one, it feels less like a story about ordinary people, where we can identify in a way with the “ victims”. Even Though I liked the opposition Nanno/Yuri, I felt like in the episodes, they took too much space, giving us little to analyse the situations presented in the episodes.
