Be yourself!
An interesting and original storyline about a group of young people who have the goal of being in the entertainment business as their goal in life. It paints the adults running the entertainment business in a bad light as they fail to truly mentor the you g people under their care, while at the same time showing the need for true friends, family, and the damage fans can to do a young person’s career. The story is told through the life of a young man who is the victim of a mimic. The characters are likable and genuine.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
The road to stardom is rocky. Even with talent and hard work, success is not guaranteed.
I began watching this show because Wu Jia Cheng was the main actor. I have enjoyed watching him perform as a member X-NINE, and several other shows, such as Oh, My Emperor. It is a shame that the only way to watch this is on Youtube, and the sound cuts out from time to time; because this show has a great storyline, as it leads the audience through the many ups and downs of becoming a star. It is easy to get attached to all the young men, struggling for success, and disappointing when each is eliminated. I would compare it to “Racket Boys.” Wu Jia Cheng did a great job portraying an unskilled dancer and singer when the show begins; as he is actually highly skilled. I look forward to watching this collection of young men in future acting roles. I found the show well worth watching for people of any age.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
A showcase of street dancing
I enjoyed watching the interaction between dancers from different countries as they worked together to overcome language barriers. I knew nothing about street dancing before watching, and respect the dance skills these dancers have and their ability to work together to merge styles, techniques, and languages. I was disappointed in the final episode as the contestants were overshadowed by the number of other performers in their routines and the fact that I could find no video to watch with English captions throughout the show. Not understanding the comments of the captains and contestants was a disappointment. The first 11 episodes gave great insight into the personalities and skills of these talented young people, so not having an English translation for the finale was a let down.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
