When I initally saw that The School Nurse Files was only rated 7.2 I was shocked. It is so good and so weird. It is probably the most bizzare thing I have ever watched, but in a good way. It is quirky, weird, and different. The pacing is different, and overall watching it feels different than any other show. Almost like watching a movie. When I read the reviews I can now see why some people are not big fans of it, not everyone loves the quirky, weird, almost unsettling feel it can have, but the 7.2 still surprises me. It really feels very uncanny-valley, but in a great way. If you are into anything odd, it is so worth a watch. Since watching I have struggled to find something that has the same weird, unexplainable vibe that this drama has. It is one of my all time favorites, and im honestly not entirly sure why. I know a lot of people found it slow or boring, but the pace and subtle details are some of the best things about it. I have rewatched it multiple times and notice something new each time. Still not sure what the ducks are though... All of the characters in this show are a little bit off. The best way I can describe it is if they were on a planet just like earth, but not earth. Like they are just a little different in their mannerisms. They dont seem 100% human. On top of the weird factor, I loved the cinematography and the graphis in it. Lots of the jellies were so beautiful or creepy, some of them being both. The only thing I would change would be the amount of episodes. I really think they could have added more in and extended the series. The end is kindof rushed in my opinion. I doubt there will be a season 2, but I really hope I'm wrong.
