A series to go anytime
I had my eyes on this series after watching a reel on Instagram, and I picked to watch it after a stressful times, so it may have had a greater impact on me. But here it goes:A light-hearted drama about ordinary people trying to be ordinary, but end up being extraordinary together. Every character has a story, and a part of everybody's life takes up the form of a case, which takes up 1-2 episodes to crack.
I would say that it is somewhere similar to a slice of life, with lots of humour to it.
Each character has their own charm, and their new Chief finds it and believes in it:
"It is not perfectly invincible, but it has a charm to it"
It is not as serious as other crime thrillers like Tunnel, etc. or as funny as Laughter in Waikiki, but maybe that's what is really the charm of the series. Because it has a touch of mundaneness to it.
But I can say one thing- if the characters do grow on you, you will feel at home, definitely.
And yes, for some, it might be as charming or happening, but just one question there- whose life is?!

Auditing is a matter of life and death
I was in the moment I read the name. I had decided to watch it irrespective of its rating- because this show is a rare one portraying the world which is the vital nerve of any organisation yet never kind of given its deserved attention. I had always craved a drama from the field of accounting or auditing, and more so interest to know how it works in a different country.About the story, it is well knit one, the typical trail of one episode one case. Though you might predict the culprits or the story, it still holds you to it because the unpredictable factor is either the story or the characters next move- especially "What will Shin Cha il do?"
I liked the characters, despite being annoyed by some, but let's get true- you do find such people around you, and you do stay in their vicinity because they might not be dark at heart.
The audit team leader Shin Cha il- is a true person really rare to find. He is that person whose every word is valued a lot, the crave for praise, the fear they instill, the silence they create.
The line that stuck with me- "Audit is a matter of life and death"- though they gave it a backstory, it becomes a relatable example to notice that auditors really are desk-job soldiers fighting a different battle against lot of stuff. It brings a motivation.
Spoiler
Season 2 is hinted at the end, let's see. It would be lovely to watch Shin Cha il in his new job, which will far more suit his character, swag and attitude😎

Not for everyone- read the synopsis, reviews and decide
(It seems that the stuff I am loving recently is not apparently liked by many, and vice versa. Still, I give my experience as a review)For beginners, I had not read the synopsis before watching the movie, and I still understood the story, so maybe it was not as vague for me.
The story is about a girl forced to act as her brother and sent to royal court as trainee painter. This is her story from discovery of the aspects of her talent- painting; to her discovery of the unseen parts of the world, to discovery of herself, her love and sacrifice.
Considering the year in which the movie came, this movie is bold in aspects of intimacy and act of love-making (or easy word nudity😒). I have not seen the drama, so I can't really comment on the deeper shades of characters portrayed, but I would like to justify one point:
A book is often great than a movie adaptation, and a drama adaption will often be greater than movie adaptation (obviously time constraints we will forget😤to consider while judging).
Just as the main character tries to make a point- whatever she painted was normal humans, something she doesn't find disgusting or obscene, and I guess it applies to the movie as well. It may have many explicit scenes, but the ones shared by the main couple really read different vibes (if you really have to compare it to obscenity found on dark web)
Also, many events and maybe even the story is something that has already been better presented in other fine projects, but that doesn't make this movie a complete failure.
I watched it purely for KNG, and once again, I am amazed by his choice of work. Really bold of him to take up such projects in span of mere 3 years (I will never forget "no regret")
This is what I thought of about the movie. As for rewatch, I may just run through it. I admire it, but I agree it doesn't have that impact on me.

A watch for absolute free time
I watched this movie with 2 aspects: For KNG and without reading the synopsis. The movie starts and after half hour, I am still confused as to what exactly is the plot-"Ah, 1/3rd of the movie is done and I still dunno what is going on."
Then, as the movie moves ahead, I realized, "So, this is it, I guess. Maybe what I guess is the whole point, there's nothing much".
The movie is good, with good action scenes, good star cast. The plot was too simple for me to understand that yes, this was the whole point. Maybe, I was expecting something more to happen. Suggestion: the story is as in synopsis, no suspense involved and this is no spoiler.
It has similar vibes as "time to hunt" starring Lee Je Hoon (except that one is still better now that I watched this one).
I guess such movies are not my taste.
Since I watched it for KNG, I enjoyed his character which though didn't seem a deadly killer, it still gave craziness which I thoroughly enjoyed.
I guess my ratings are mostly for him. I am pretty sure I am not watching it again.

A good soap drama to watch when really free
First off, I watched this drama for Kim Nam Gil, so there will really less criticism for him. The story really stands out in the series of "Resurrection" and "The devil", where I have watched "The devil" as well, and after reading through some reviews here as well the info on Wikipedia, many things get clear as why the story is like this and why it ends that way.A good advice for those who are watching now, is that you need to remember that these dramas are oldies, and if you really check the dramas of that period, many dramas will really show same characteristics - like maybe draggy, unusual relations, mind blowing and equally mind f****ing plot twists (very similar to daily soaps in India🤣), old-style camera angles, cinematography, etc. So, if you watch it with this mindset, you will pretty much focus on the story rather than just judging that the plot is boring.
Also, I would like review it in comparison to "Bad Guy" which is really similar to this one on various grounds.
1. The story is well written, led by the ambitions and nature of the characters, as compared to Bad Guy.
2. Though the end is same, the explanation for this story soothes your heart better 😒
3. Kim Nam Gil's acting- Driving force for both the stories. Though both are revenge dramas with an anti-hero, there is clear distinction between both the characters and he portrays them well.
4. I found Jae in more convincing because the character is what it is shown and is well played by Han Ga In. Unfortunately, this is my personal opinion, but I was not convinced by the prosecutor played by Seo Ye jin. The very K-drama industry where all prosecutor characters are strong and believable as 'Yes, he or she is a prosecutor' irrespective of their past, her character would have pretty much been the same at any other occupation. This might be the weakness of the character maybe.
5. The idea behind the name, and reference of Orpheus. The story prettty much sticks to the tale. In contrast, Bad Guy very well sticks to the name, since Kim Nam Gil does play a playboy there (and pretty amazing)
6. Lovely Kim Dong soo.
Overall, I enjoyed watching both pieces and was satisfied to watch my hero being the antihero. Though the end is utterly not my style😑.
(My review ends here, spoiler alert and personal overwhelmings😤 below)
*SPOILER*
I REALLY NEED A STORY WHERE KIM NAM GIL STAYS ALIVE🙂 I HAVE WATCHED 4 PIECES BACK TO BACK WHERE HIS CHARACTER DIES, WHY??!!
PANDORA, SHARK, BAD GUY, ISLAND!
HIS CHARACTER IS ALMOST DYING IN FIERY PRIEST 2, THOUGH I KNOW HE WON'T.
BUT COME ON, WHY?!🥹
FORGET WATCHING HIM IN A NORMAL ROMCOM OR ANY NORMAL DRAMA- THE LEAST I EXPECT IS HIS CHARACTER STAYING ALIVE☠️🥲

For the soft hearted ones: A good Horror
Many reviews say that the drama is TayNew magic, and it is right to the 'T'. This drama is a wholesome one, offering you to get close with the characters and join them in their adventure. Some points that I liked-1. Guest appearances of many actors🤩
2. P'Tay's character- the reason why I say is, though the plot is about ghosts and they do look scary enough to haunt you in your dreams (yes, everything is scary in the dream, however stupid it seems after you wake up), everytime he screams is a direct expression of the viewer, and suddenly the ghosts are not scary, because the character is equally scared of the ghosts.
3. A plot where the ghost-seeing character is shown on a journey of accepting and working on his ability, in contrast to many others where the journey is shown only as a backstory.
4. Many obvious questions are answered, not leaving you to find them on your own. For e.g: Why are all the properties haunted?
5. The bond of the main characters- it is lovely familial bond they develop, making you feel at home.
6. All the characters are sweet and have a character growth.
For me, this would count as another go-to drama, if I really want to watch something of horror genre, but not really horror due to P'Tay and P'new.🥰

Watched it for Kim Nam Gil, but loved all of them!!
In the same industry that delivers some amazing heart racing mystery thrillers and revenge dramas, here comes a daily soap which is lead by this fiery priest. To be honest, the only and only reason to complete this one is Kim Nam Gil. I had dropped it once, but still watched it now and for some reason, I am not completely disappointed. It should really be mentioned that the story has plotholes, some basics missed that will at least irk you, and the biggest reason- It is a slow poke. Like real slow.
The story kind of really starts from ep 13, where you can finally see things happening that should have happened at ep 6 maybe.
But still, it is funny af. And I guess it is very similar to daily soap, so I am supposed to assume that there will be some nonsense.
I did take something from the drama, apart from the satisfaction of watching Kim Nam Gil-
That forgiving others is not something you do for others, it is something you do for yourself. But, this is definitely not that the cost of justice.
All the main leads are veteran actors who flawlessly bring this somewhat unfit piece to shine.
P.S- If you really need a reason to watch this, just pick any actor/actress you biase on, and stick to the determination of completing for them.

A wholesome masterpiece!
An ordinary story of an extraordinary Woo Young woo. New cases, new challenges, new people- everything is new for Young woo. And our main lead is no loser! She builds her way in this world that seems difficult for someone like her; earning everyone’s respect and praise. The series has a bang on start with various characters you’ll come to love along the way:
Her father, her teammates, her one and only love- Lee Jun ho.
With every case, we learn something new: a new aspect of law, a part of society unseen, a part of life unexplored, or something we forget when we watch any drama: Our protagonists can fail. And it is beautiful.
Park Eun bin as Woo young woo has nailed the character, proving that no one else is a better option. Her portrayal of the character will show you all the sides of Young woo- Her curiosity, her nonchalance, her smartness, her maturity, her hesitance and her humanity. And Lee Jun ho, he is an Amazon green forest. I have never seen such an amazing personality, so good, mature, pure and yes, maybe imperfect. Because when even we will get prejudiced towards Young woo, he will not. He truly loves her, just like any other person. He will make you as well Young woo forget- "Ah, she has autism". You really need to be Jun ho to be this amazing.
Not to forget the emotionally rich and highly mature kiss scene. It is the most innocent, pure scene I have seen.
I have just rewatched the series, and I must say, I kind of found new perspectives I didn't find in the series earlier.
It is a drama that deserves at least one watch, because it gives much more everytime you watch it.
Few dialogues that I love:
"Even autistic people should have the freedom to like bad guys"
This sentence shook me, because though the situation makes us believe otherwise, this statement makes things equitable- for us and autistic people.
"We all want to love and be loved. It's the same for people with intellectual disabilities, too. Rather, the desire is even greater. Because in most cases, it's harder for them to get the attention or affection they want from other."
