Both are about reporters but the story has a different feel and storyline each. Healer is like a mix with "City Hunter" elements to it, while Pinocchio has "I Hear Your Voice" elements/feel to it well. Healer also has references to superman which is what I love. Healer and Pinocchio both have main leads who are all connected by a past which brings them together, and the story enfolds by those main leads trying to discover the truth about what exactly happened in their pasts that lead to such tragic events. Both Dalpo/Ha-myung and Junghoo/Bongsoo have similar tragic pasts too, while their love interests is what makes them feel 'human'. Both themes shows importance of relationships and having someone/people who cares for you in your life. As for female leads, both of them have really strong females which is refreshing to see. I hate watching dramas where the female lead is always weak. The one thing I always love when watching kdramas is when the drama's pace is not slow. Things are revealed in a timely matter without dragging the story on, so watching becomes very enjoyable. The fast pace is what makes a 20 hours drama few like 1-2 hours and this is exactly what both drama has. The fast pace feel is what makes both of them very addictive and amazing. Not to mention the romance between leads is just swoon worthy! *sigh* I think this is due to the amazing chemistry of JCW/PMY and LJS/PSH; and this is really reflected as both pairs won awards for Best Couple (2014) from KBS and SBS award ceremonies respectively (as well individual awards each too) <3

P.s. sorry for such a long recommendation but I can't help but love both dramas so much! They're both dramas that shouldn't be missed. So I strongly recommend both - trust me, you won't regret watching :D
