Starts with so much potential, then goes downhill with so many unnecessary and dramatic fillers
I was enjoying the first 12 episodes or so. The pace was nice, the story was good with some seriousness blended with just a nice amount of humor. Then it goes downhill from there. The writers seem to lost their direction and the plot just gets down right stupid from then on. Using a bird as a mean to keep the story moving then once against, using the bird to clear up all that random misunderstandings that made up half of the show, like, wtf? This show could've been a lot shorter without all that unnecessary plot twists, and it would deserve at least an 8/10 to me. But nope, we were forced to sit on an arduous rollercoaster ride with a bunch of silly pranks mixed with sudden life-and-death situations in a span of one episode, then more scheming and more random life-and-death catastrophe and bam, super happy ending for everyone ? and I don't think FL actually ever gets to know ML's true identity and the actual reason behind his scheming. Behind Every Lie is A Wish Waiting to Come True
This drama is truly magical. Gotta say I love everything about this show, highly recommended. . Familiar yet refreshing and very philosophical. A love story intertwines with beautiful folklore and mystery. The plot is very well written, with each episode building upon the previous one to create a cohesive and engaging narrative. The little touch at the end of every episode is really sweet, showing how much their relationship grows over time. Fu Meng Bo is such a good actor, both in the Sleuth of Ming Dynasty and this one. I just love everything about this show and wondered why I didn't pick this up sooner. Definitely one of the best out there. Love the characters, the fight scene, the tasty-looking fuuuuud, the music and everything. The plot is very interesting and there's also a good blend of comedy and seriousness. The characters are distinct with good developments. While the friendship between the tio Tang Fang, Sui Zhou and Wang Zhi is amazing, the family dynamic between Tang Fang, Sui Zhou and Dong Er will always have a special place in my heart. A very, very light-hearted show
Just finished part I and I gotta say you have to take the show very, very lightly. FL is in a game world and if I'm playing a dating/ simulation game I would just go and explore every option, too. The dialogue and plot can be weird at times and I'll just chalk it up to "weird game design" but that sort of excuse gets old after a while. I would probably continue watching since I like the characters but the amount of cheesey and cringey contents in this show is a bit too much for me to handle sometimes nglEsta resenha foi útil para você?
