I was thrown off by the racism. In England they encounter only happy white foreigners everywhere and then the only black foreigners they encounter are gangsters who attack the secondary male & female leads. I’m so tired of racist stereotypes and casting being perpetuated in the media. Sometimes the only encounter people have with a different race is what they see in the media so negative racist stereotypes have a huge impact on cross cultural understandings. it’s really hard for me to continue watching a drama once I see it.
