It has some promise but failed to live up to it. The ML has no real difficulty in life. His trial is fairly simple and mostly resolved itself by others and yet he gets the girl. A "hero" that you can't root for because it's unsympathetic. On the other hand, the demigod character is a good person, with actual pain and issue to overcome and mysterious past. If he were the lead instead, it would have made more sense. Pacing is pretty slow and story doesn't actually warrant 16 episodes. Could be compress into 9 or 10 episodes.
