beyond evil? it's more like beyond standards.

First of all, it blows my mind how good this drama is.
If you like thriller, mystery or suspense series you must know how difficult it is to find a good story that keeps you excited until the end: there's a lot of things that the screenwriter needs to be aware of and a lot of plot lines that needs to be added in the main plot so the watcher keeps on wanting and wanting the next episode.
Beyond Evil is one of the few dramas that this happens: I felt like I was losing brain cells every time I watched an episode because all the story kept my brain working so hard to find out what was happening. I swear it was such an incredible experience because the plot kept on twisting at the right place and at the right time. *sighs* The screenwriter did such an amazing job because the plot opens in a perfect rhythm and the development of the character is SOOOOO damn good -- I know it's also hard to find a suspense drama where the main character doesn't get lost in his own personality, but you won't get disappointed in Beyond Evil; all the characters development is 100% perfect. *chef's kiss*

And not only the great story, you also have the ACTING! I'm a huge fan of Yeo Jin Goo and seeing him as Han Joo Won was just another proof that he is an amazing actor. His acting! I can't stop thinking about it and his characters is also so great, his development towards the series was exactly what I was hoping for. And it hurt so much to watch the last episode knowing I wouldn't have anymore of this.
I usually don't feel this way if suspense dramas. I don't think I ever get attached to a suspense drama before, but Beyond Evil is just that good. You grow attached. You hope that the character you like won't be a killer because you wouldn't support the pain, you get hurt when they're hurt and you want to get revenge in them behalf.
I'm so grateful for the screenwriter and for whoever choose these actors. They did an incredible job. Their acting was always on point. 10/10.

Basically, yeah. Beyond Evil was *sobs* I don't even can't find the words to describe it. It really raise the standards I have for this kind of plots and I honestly hope we'll see more of the director and screenwriter duo in the future.

amazing cast, amazing plot and fight scenes? count me in.

*sighs* i don't even know where to begin.
when i started to watch taxi driver, it was already episode 11 and even though it's very hard for me to watch 10 episodes in a row without getting tired ou bored, i couldn't stop watching -- and not because of the plot itself, but also because of the relationship you created with the characters.

taxi driver brings a contradictional situation because you don't want to be a criminal, but at the same time, since criminals do bad things do good people, you want them to suffer. so i personally think they were able to work with that very well: the characters are conscious of what they're doing; they know they aren't heroes, but they can't be silent in a situation of injustice.

the "taxi driver" group has such a funny dynamic! it's not a work that can be done alone and because they need each other very much and because the reason they're working in there is similar, they really look like a family. and their relationship is so so so captivating that you just want to see more of it. since the begining it's clear that every opinion matters.

another thing that made me enjoy so much is the fact that episodes have like their own plot (that is lowkey related to a main plot). i think that this kind of storyline is so interesting, because you're able to show a lot stories and create a lot of scenarios that need to be shown and that need to be discussed without compromising the whole drama.

of course you can find some flaws in the story. for example, i didn't understand much of the process of keeping the "villains" arrested in a cell, i've never read any foucault, but i don't think that was going to work out fine. and in the end, specially the 15-16 episodes i thought they just mixed a lot of things and it was such a rush... the end itself (the last scenes) is good but i think that the drama was supposed to end in the episode 14 and afterwards they just added stuff to have 16 episodes. (but that's my personal opinion).

well, basically: taxi driver is an amazing drama, with and amazing cast, with a good character development and with a lot of funny scenes... AND FIGHT SCENES (with i personally love). it makes you lose a little bit of hope in humanity, but it also makes you promise yourself that you'll never shut up in situations of injustice........... and that you'll never transfer money after receving a call from a prossecutor office.

(ps. english is not my mother language, so i apologize for any mistakes)

the best show for you to bingewatch in the next weekend.

[english is not my main language so i apologize for any mistakes]
I started watching this on friday night and when i realized it was already sunday. I lost an entire weekend watching this because this show it's SUCH a mess that makes all the experience so damn funny.

Let me explain.
So, if you already read the plot summary you know that we have a misterious woman and a handsome guy who end up accidentally meeting each other a zillion of times (ok it's like 5 times but in a city with 26 MILLION people) and start to get close to each other bla bla bla.
And when you read this, you expect that they'll meet a lot of times, fall in love, breakup because of a secret, makeup later, kiss, get married, the end, yay! You're not prepared to what you're going to live in the next 30 episodes.

I MEAN OF ALL THE TROPES. OF ALL THE POSSIBILITIES, WHO WOULD'VE THOUGHT!

I know how c-dramas work. Seriously.
In this one you have a female protagonist that is so much not-like-the-other-girls she's bold (but in a nice way) and she's carismatic and she's nice and even though she's the CEO of one of the most richest companies in the country she stills works as an assistant and also works as a sub-chef in a restaurant! And the male protagonist is so-much-like-the-other-cdrama-protagonists! He's handsome, and he's rich and he has tons of women who love him and every breath he takes became news in some internet forum.
And you watch they meet. You watch they interact. And you watch those inexplicable events happening (you know, those type of scenes that are so funny because it doesn't make any sense and you watch and say "woah this is a true c-drama") and you expect that it will flow the normal way. All the 10 characters know each other somehow; they're all connected. You already know who is the lead couple. You just need to find out what the female protagonist is hiding.

Everything it's fine you just have to wait.
And then you find out she has superpowers! Like. Really. She's like three members of EXO combined.
If you didn't love the plot by the episode 15, after this episode you just start loving this show so much because WHY?? IS SHE AN ALIEN? WHAT'S GOING TO HAPPEN TO HER? WILL SHE BE KIDNAPPED? ARE THEY GOING TO TRY TO USER HER POWERS TO AND EVIL SORT OF THING? WHAT WILL HAPPEN WHEN THE VILLAIN FOUNDS OUT?

In the end you'll be disappointed, of course. This is a c-drama, don't forget.
But the fact that she has superpowers, the way that they make the fact that she has superpowers something normal like Boku no Hero Academy and only mention her powers in three to six episodes and the way that in the end you just so shocked of everything you saw and everything you heard make this drama so worth it.

I really wasn't expecting this.
Also wasn't expecting the male protagonist's brother having such a sad arc. I didn't watch this drama because of him, I watched to understand how a CEO of a company have time to have more two jobs (and the answer is easy, she has superpowers) but it's really sad that he's the character that suffer (A LOT) for the male protagonist to have a serious side.

if i had to live nineteen times i would've become some pyschopath by now

i actually don't have a lot to say beside that this kdrama had a very easy going development!

what brought me to this drama was some gifsets i saw on tumblr and even though i thought i would, i didn't became obsessed with the drama within the firsts episodes... but the characters are so lovable that they just pull you into the story!

i think i have some complaints about the "villains" i think that the story could've been more interesting, but since is an adaptation from a webtoon, i need to recgonize that a webtoon and a drama are very different medias and maybe the webtoon wouldn't be able to develop the idea that i had it on my mind.

but even though the story isn't dark, it's such a great production. shin hye sun (like always) just gives all of her to bring life to such a deep character like ji eum and i cried at least five times with her acting. the other actors are also so into they characters that they make all this production worth it.

really wished we had more screentime for the second couple because i think that if they had more time we could've had a story like wang yeo and kim sun from goblin... but since it was just a 12 episodes drama i understand why they had to focused all in the main couple. and in this matter, i saw some people on tumblr saying that the end felt a little bit rush, but i think a lot of this drama was rushed to be able to fit the time they had (which is a little bit sad tbh).

gave it 10 stars because i really enjoyed it but... the soundtrack is horrible. like... i don't know if they spend all of the money in the actors contracts to invite some kpop artist to create a good song, but i don't know anything would be better than some random beat that played like 5 times in random moments.

also didn't like the clothes of the second female lead. this don't interfere with the score i give but it was so horrible that i just wanted to say it somewhere. like. they put my beautiful girl to wear some pink cardigan that didn't suit her at all, some ugly white boots that didn't match her personality and even put her in some ridiculous jeans dress. i honestly think that yoon cho won closed suffered more than jesus christ.

good modern romance, but why is it so hard to create a plot that lasts 24 episodes?

when I began watching this one I read a comment that said "it would be great if it had only 10 episodes" and I must agree... the acting is amazing and the characters are actually >really< well written, but the story starts to drag itself because you just have so much time and not much things to develop (enter some random plot lines)... and you can't even blame the writers because they did tried to delay them being together at maximum...

anyways!
overall I enjoyed the story! the first part was a little bit hard to keep going because the female lead was clowning herself and de male lead was being mean without any necessity, but after the misunderstanding begins and the female lead really starts acting like any woman would, the story gets really fun!

what I enjoyed the most was because the story takes time to happen... for instance, they start working together before they graduate, but only get together a year later (I think) and this is a nice move for me because, for me, this means that their feelings and their mentally developed? in a way like the female lead was obsessed with him at first (without knowing him very well) and now can really get to know him and the same thing with him that nurtured this passion for her in an online world and now can discover different sides of her, etc.

in the end I really wanted to give this one a 5 stars just because is not that cringe kinda of plot 😅

this might be one of the best scripts i have ever seen

first of all i just loved all of this. i began to watch because of the amazing cast, but i must say that i stayed for the plot.

this whole kdrama is just so well written? i mean... I'm sure the writer spend at least a full week acting like the characters because everything they do is so align with >who< the characters are.

and I do understand some people saying that the plot got a little obvious halfway through but I don't agree. it was clear for me after the episode 10 if it was going do be a good ending or a sad ending, but I was still so anxious in the episode 16, because the writer was always adding a suspenseful feature in the episodes,,, so everything was actually quite... fresh.

and I was also so happy that there wasn't any plot holes. even a character that bearly made an appearance in the kdrama (for example hae in's uncle) ended up receiving a development (or maybe I should say a finale).

oh! and I should also add that this story by any means focused only on the main characters... the whole cast participated a lot in the kdrama and. it. just. made. so. much. sense. really I think it was one of the best scripts I have ever seen!

the only thing bad in this kdrama was the soundtrack... no song made an impact and I mean they clearly had the money... they should have collaborated with someone of exo hahahaha
