Definitely worth watching

I initially hesitated to watch this since it was streaming online for a price (Php 250 or about US$ 5) and it had some limitations (e.g. must be played in 5 days and must be finished watching within 24 hours from your first play). However, curiosity got the best of me and I wanted to watch a BL series on Christmas Day (besides, the other entries in MMFF 2020 were not appealing to me). I am glad I made that decision.

The story seems to be quite simple but I think what made this movie good is the acting, cinematography and music. The shots and angles were filmed nicely. (I love that miniature lamps in the field scene coz it appears very romantic and very "kdrama-ey"). The songs and background music were modern yet emotive . Although the film appears to have some budgetary limitations on the production values, the finished film was still good. Kudos to the producer, director, cinematographer and staff for this.

I am not familiar with their other works, but the actors playing the main characters were good especially Adrian Lindayag who plays Dominic. I could feel the emotions especially the "kilig" (romantic excitement) as well as the pain and sadness that comes with that kind of love especially since such relationship is forbidden by the Church (and Philippine society to a large part). The juxtaposition of having a religious background while at the same time patronizing mystic arts like tarot card reading (not to mention it is being done quite near the church) is an honest take on the ironic but real-life situation in the Philippines.

Personally, it's very relatable to me. I too studied in a sectarian catholic high school in the Philippines more than a decade ago. We were also attending masses, spiritual retreats and other religious activities coupled with strict teachers, bullying and even student fights. I especially had a laugh at the "Spanish fan" in the mass scene because that also happened to me although mine wasn't sequestered. Hello! It's a necessity considering the hot weather in school especially in the chapel. :-) In any case, it is a reality in an all-male school that some tend to be derided for being effeminate. One really has to have a strong backbone to stand-up to these dorks and survive the jungle that is high school. It was nice to reminisce high school life with its raging hormones and first love. Awww.

I guess my only small gripe was the final scene between the two leads. It somehow felt hurried to me. Although it was a satisfying happy ending, it kinda felt "kulang" (something was missing) as it abruptly ended after they makeup. Most of all, I especially loved the idea being espoused in this film - that fate is something we create for ourselves and we don't just have to rely on our supposed destiny being told by fortunetellers.

To those who are BL fans (regardless of nationality), I suggest that you watch this. I do hope that this be widely available with English subtitles very soon (and hopefully for free also) so that many more audience worldwide could appreciate it. While this year has seen plenty of Pinoy BL series (most of which are honestly sub-par), the film "The Boy Foretold by the Stars" is done quite well and a welcome "shot in the arm" so to speak to the usual lackadaisical MMFF with its inane, formulaic and predictable movies that we have been used to in the past. Hope this means we will get to see more substantial quality in Filipino movies (not just BL) in the near future.

Nice Pinoy RomCom mini-series

Before proceeding with the review, let me get this issue out of the way first - the main couple are not actually biologically (or even legally?) related siblings. Let's clarify that to avoid possibly turning off some people from watching this good drama.

That being said, the acting from the main characters are actually quite good as well as their chemistry. It's been quite a while since I've seen Ronnie Alonte (Alfie) in a film or drama series, but his acting chops are still damn fine (not to mention he is still good-looking albeit more mature now and thinner compared before?). Loisa Andalio (Fiona) was also good in playing the "baduy" (uncool) character in the past as well as the spunky and artistic girl of the present. Props also to acting chops of the (step)parents Henry and Darlene who are played by veteran actors (and real-life couple) Ariel Rivera and Gelli de Belen. The supporting characters were quite bland to be honest but it's negligible.

Story-wise, although there were some plot points which kinda felt forced or incredulous, the plot's premise is still strong and a good one to watch. I just have a small issue with the pacing of the story. I love the fact that it's only six episodes so it's not that long to binge-watch. However, I think the conflict resolution between the main couple seems to be a bit hurried in the final episode. Not to mention, although there were hints of a reconciliation between the (step)parents, it was somehow unresolved in the end. But maybe, that was intentionally done in order to have second season? hehe

Music plays an important role in this series since the female lead plays in a band and her romantic partner also plays the guitar. The songs were quite meaningful and emotive - it makes the scenes more touching. I honestly did not expect Loisa to have a good voice but that was a good suprise.

This is a must-watch for anyone who loves a fast-paced romantic comedy drama with not so heavy issues in the characters. Glad I binge-watched this today (Valentine's Day 2021). If only I had my own Ronnie. haha

P.S. I am so glad that I subscribed to iwant TFC. If I weren't, I would not have discovered this drama. haha. More of this please. :-D

BACKGROUND:
At the onset, let me first say that I discovered this series unexpectedly. About late March 2020, while I was waiting for the airing of the next episode of the much hyped BL series 2gether, I chanced upon other series like 2 Moons, 2 Moons 2, Theory of Love, Love by Chance, TharnType, Sotus, including My Engineer which just recently started and still airing at that time.

I have to be honest, after watching those other BL series I found the start of My Engineer to be quite silly and I even found the acting to be lacking. But I have to admit also that as the series progressed, the plot more interesting and the acting got better. I loved the fact also that apart from the main leads, the side characters also got their own story development which was quite good also.

STORY:
The plot really is not that complicated and the premise might appear quite silly. To put it simply, in exchange for saving Duen's ass from the (not so scary) giant lizard, Bon demands that Duen give him a flower daily for one month. Sounds like an anime or manga teen fantasy right? Well, that started the ball rolling. But after the first episode or so, things actually pickup and the story and its relationships become more interesting.

ACTING:
BonDuehn - At first, I found their interactions kinda cute but somehow later on I think it is already grating on the nerves. I mean, their attitude later on appears childish and bratty already with the constant bickering, miscommunication, misunderstanding, unreasonable jealousy, etc. Why do I say this? Because their constant fights would appear to be petty compared to the issues in the other ships of the series. I understand that the characters are from a certain age group and that they've known each other only for a month or so. But I hope they tone down these antics in Season 2 where I hope they would be more mature already (fingers crossed). Although I like the last episode, I thought that the resolution of their last fight was somehow fast-tracked. I love the fact that they were able to reconcile but I think they made up too easily considering that their issue is supposed to be "infidelity" with the kiss between Mai and Bon in the forest. More than the acting, I think this issue is more on the writing/directing side. I think Cooper is a good actor. He does perform well especially in expressing the teasing, angry and sad emotions. Poy however needs more improvement. While he is great in acting the childish part of his character, I found his facial expressions when he was crying and happy to be the same (small eyes and showing of teeth). I think the voice was the only difference between those two different emotions. I hope he shows more depth in Season 2. In any case, I am still happy because when the series ended, they posted their relationship status already. Awww. :-D

MekBoss - What's to say about this couple? Uhm. While the issue about their feelings for each other has already been resolved in the previous episode, here coming back in the last episode is the selfish user celebrity wannabe bitch in the name of Fon. haha. I am just glad that Boss finally owned up his feelings for Mek and turned down this girl. :-D In terms of acting, one could really empathize with Mek when he secretly loved his bestfriend. Boss was also a funny character. Good job to this two. However, while Mek was played well by Ryan, I found his dubbed voice to be disturbing. It did not fit well with his character. It sounded more mature to be frank and they should look for a better voice character next time. I also hope that those issues surrounding Ryan and the production company would be resolved eventually so he will come back for Season 2.

RamKing - BEST KISS EVER in My Engineer. haha. I really loved the development of their relationship (more than BonDuehn to be honest). We have the strong silent type animal-lover in the name of Ram and the confident and supposedly wise guy (read: advice giver) who's into plants in the name of King. Although their story seemed like a slowburn but I am glad it eventually blossomed into something quite romantic. Strangely enough, while King was teasing the silent Ram in previous episodes he somehow got cold feet when Ram was already starting to have feelings for him. I especially loved the scene with the "flower crown" which Ram made for King. That was so sweet. And who could forget that tent scene, where King expressed his emotions (albeit under the influence of alcohol) to Ram which ended up in a rather passionate kiss. It made the main couple BonDuehn's kiss pale in comparison. haha. While the status of the two was not yet finally resolved by the last episode, it made us further eager for Season 2.

TharaFrong - Although this couple had less exposure compared to the other ships, their development somehow progressed especially in the last few episodes. Frong started off as this standoffish character and was even rude to Doc Thara. But eventually, Frong softened up and I think already starts to develop feelings for the good doctor (more thanks to the missing necklace which was found by Doc Thara after much search - and admission of taking pictures of Frong unkowingly. haha). Doc Thara is a bit weird but thoughtful and adorable at the same time - who could resist this cutie? Despite the blooming relationship between the two however, the last episode for them ended quite unsure since Frong was friendzoned by Doc Thara. Ugh! Seriously doc? You and Frong are just a 'senior' and 'junior'? That kinda hurts. So you treat all your 'juniors' like that? Yeah right! I don't believe you. I think you're just in denial. haha. But I think, these two will get more development in their relationship come Season 2.

Aside from the ships, the other side characters were also interesting especially Tinting who was quite funny. Speaking of support roles, I hope Tang and Phu would also have their own ship come second season. haha

MUSIC:
I did not really like the opening song of the series. I think it was forgettable. But the songs and background music played in the scenes were better. Nothing really stood out for me unlike in other BL series where I had LSS. haha

REWATCH VALUE:
If you want to have a fun watch of young love, then this show is quite good. I think a second watch is already enough for this series. After all, I still have many other dramas to watch and finish. haha. I will try to rewatch it again this coming weekend. :-D

FINAL THOUGHTS:
Props to the director and production company which made this series. I think they did not only make something that they want, regardless of what the audience feel. They really listened (I think social meda played a good part?) and made a good BL series (thanks or no thanks to what happened to 2gether). My Engineer started off a bit shaky but eventually I already grew fond of the series and its characters which made me excited for Saturdays. This series is a MUST WATCH and honestly much BETTER than 2gether. Can't wait for Season 2! haha

P.S. I still can't believe the audience rating here in MDL is the same between 2gether and My Engineer. Really!? Do you have eyes? No person in a right mind, would equate the two as being of the same quality. NO ONE! Ugh! ;-)

I've watched the first season and the second season for at least five times each by now. At first I did not want to watch Season 2 because of the casting change but curiosity got the better of me. Mea culpa. :-)

After watching both seasons many times, I have to say that I still prefer Bas as Wayo. While Earth did a good job in the 2nd season, I think that Bas' characterization of Wayo in Season 1 is more believable and endearing. Bas as Wayo has a good combination of innocence and strength which makes his character a good foil for the arrogant P'Pha. I especially loved the piano scene in Season 1 where Wayo was narrating how he became the moon of the science faculty and dedicating the song to P'Pha. Kudos also to the one who made the song arrangement. It was really a heartfelt and touching scene.

Moreover, although Godt (season 1) is more handsome than Ben (season 2) as P'Pha, I have to admit that Ben and Earth (Wayo) have more on-screen chemistry. There were just some scenes in Season 2 that I find Ben's acting to be a bit "dry" (like the facial expressions and bodily actions are not apt to the scene). Maybe it is the acting per se (need more workshops?) or the script (or both?).

Anyway, what I liked in Season 2 is the development of the MingKit couple. Kim's portrayal of the bestfriend Ming in Season 1 is quite on point and honestly quite funny. However, Joong (Ming) and Nine (Kit) in Season 2 appear to be much closer to each other in real life which I think translated to better chemistry for the couple on screen. The banter between MingKit is much more exciting in Season 2, I promise. ;-)

Finally, what I loved most in Season 2 is the actualization of the ForthBeam tandem. While the actors portraying Forth (Tae) and Beam (Tee) in Season 1 are both goodlooking and also good actors, I think I did not see any scene where these two had any relevant dialogue to each other more so not even a hint of a budding romance in Season 1 which is supposedly in preparation for Season 2 (like the MingKit couple). For me, the most talented actor in 2 Moons 2 would have to be Pavel. His portrayal of the character Forth is excellent - tough and simple but sensitive. He more than makes up for the shyness and elegance of Dome's character Beam. Bravo Pavel!

Although I still love Bas as Wayo, there's nothing we can do about the fact that the cast change happened. We can just hope for a much better Season 3 soon. Best of luck to the actors and production team of 2 Moons 3. Can't wait to see the characters back again soon. :-D

Ha Nee rocks!

Overall, this show was a joy to watch. The cast were good-looking and the acting was good. The series has nice production values and music as well.

I especially loved the female lead played by Ha Nee. This was my first time to watch a show of hers and I was quite impressed with her portrayal of different characters. Her character as the funny and spunky prosecutor as well as an independent and strong woman, was refreshing for me since I have been used to the usual more meek female characters.

This was also my first time to watch Lee Sang Yoon and Lee Won Keun in a drama, and I found them handsome and talented as well. Hope to see more of them soon.

I loved the development of the characters and the issues as well as the plot twists. I guess my only small gripe is the last few episodes which felt hurried and a bit unsatisfying in terms of conflict resolution. I think some viewers also noticed the writing of the show somehow declined in the later part of the series. (For example, I find the scene where the male lead did not answer the question of the child romantic but disconcerting. Or maybe it was just my OCD. lol)

In any case, this is not a typical Korean drama with cutesy characters and saccharine plot. It was a breath of fresh air. Lastly, that dance scene by the cast after the epilogue in the final episode was simply cute. I hope to see more like this in other dramas. haha

Kudos to the cast, crew and production of this well-made drama. Keep it up!

2 Moons is my second Thai BL series. This show was recommended to me by a friend after I have gushed over the first episode of 2 Gether (and watched 2 Moons while I was waiting for the 2nd episode of 2 Gether). ;-)

STORY:
2 Moons is based on the novel by Chiffon Cake. It is basically about a boy (Wayo) who had a crush in high school (Phana) who is senior to him and now the former enters the same university as the latter. Wayo joins this campus contest (Stars and Moons) with representatives from different faculties (Medicine, Science, Engineering, etc.) and P'Pha is the reigning Moon of the Faculty of Medicine as well as the Campus Moon himself. Of course, despite the initial animosity between the two, the relationship between them develop over the course of the series during school scenes, contest practices, meals, out-of-town trips and there's even a rain scene! It was found out later in the series that P'Pha also has feelings for Wayo even when they were in high school. The flashback scenes in high school were quite good especially during Wayo's attempt at confession to P'Pha. I could feel the shock and sadness of Wayo upon hearing the conversation between P'Pha and his friends. :-(

School dramas are not new to me. I have watched many of the same genre albeit in other countries (like my favorite j-dorama Hana Kimi). There were even some reviews of 2 Moons that said it is like another series (Sotus) but it did not matter to me at that time because I haven't watched SOTUS yet before watching 2 Moons. The scenarios happening in the campus, the school contest and school dormitories seem familiar already to me but since this is a BL themed series, I found it quite new and endearing.

CAST/ACTING:
The cast were generally good even the ones in supporting characters (hello Fairy Angel Gang) but I think there are three (3) actors who stood out in 2 Moons, unfortunately not all in a good way.

For one, while Godt (P'Pha) is undeniably good-looking, he still has a lot to improve in terms of acting. I am more inclined to believe that that it was an acting problem rather than a directing problem. For one thing, the performances of other actors in the series like Bas (Wayo) and Khem (Ming) were very good. Also, Godt was good in portraying P'Pha as a jerk in the early episodes of the series but in the later episodes when his character is supposedly already having feelings for Wayo he is no longer that believable. His "sweetness" towards Wayo seemed fake and forced. Forgive me, but I don't feel the chemistry between the two characters even during the car scene. I cringed everytime he just raised his eyebrows and smirked at Wayo during their supposedly lovey dovey scenes. Ugh! Sadly, I think he is the weakest actor in this series despite playing a main character.

As I said previously, the actors playing the main character Wayo and his bestfriend Ming were exceptionally good.
Khem is quite good portraying the bestfriend Ming. He was so supportive, understanding and funny. Very good in comedic timing and the emotive delivery of his lines. Not to mention, his teasing of P'Kit was way better than P'Pha's teasing of Wayo (sorry Godt). :-)

Bas is also very good as the adorably cute Wayo with the right amount of innocence and courage to stand up to the arrogant P'Pha. During the heartbreaking moments, I could empathize with Wayo and really could feel the hurt and sadness in his eyes. (His character is also relatable to me not only because I love manga/anime like One Piece but also since personally I've also had a crush since high school. Although we went to the same college but nothing happened unfortunately. I'm such a pussy. haha)

Apart from the expected kissing scene in Thai BL series (the kissing scene in 2 Moons is not even a full-blown peck in the mouth. haha), there is no "bed scene" in the series. So I think this is quite a tame BL series and could be considered for "general patronage" rating for audiences.

MUSIC:
During the course of watching (and rewatching) 2 Moons, I got LSS on two songs from this series even if I couldn't memorize the lyrics.

I love the beginning theme song of the show by Pause entitled "Kae Dai Bpen Kon Soot Tai Tee Tur Kit Teung" (Just To Be the Last Person You Think Of). The song talked about a person not wishing too much but just being the last person being thought of by a loved one is enough. We have a word for that in Filipino - hugot. hehe. On top of the sweet lyrics, it has a bossa nova feel which is sweet and calming at the same time. An instrumental version of the song is also played during the course of the series during the sad scenes. :-)

On top of that, I especially loved the song arrangement of "Kon Tummadah" (Ordinary Guy). Although it was a cover of a past song which is more upbeat, this melancholic version sung personally by Bas (the actor playing the character Wayo) is a good fit for the story and the main characters. It was really touching to hear Wayo singing that he is only a simple guy - not a special person and he can only offer his heart and body to his beloved. Awwww. The song was made even more special because prior to his performance during the talent portion of the contest, Wayo gave a short monologue on how he was chosen as the Moon of his faculty after answering the question "What is love?" Awww. What a nice song to dedicate to his crush (P'Pha) right? We also have another word for that in Filipino - kilig. haha

PRODUCTION:
Apart from the many product placements during the course of 2 Moons, I think the production values of this series is better than its supposed sequel (2 Moons 2). The scenery, the costume and makeup as well as the cinematography of this series was better in my opinion. (I say this because there were some scenes in 2 moons 2 which I felt amateurish).
Overall, the script was good but there were just some times when the lines become so cheesy.

I am shocked to see that this is the first and only project of the director Kanchanapun Meesuwan. As of writing this review (May 15, 2020), I could only see one entry for the director in the MDL website. I hope he would get more series or movies soon with the same quality (if not better) in 2 Moons.

FINAL THOUGHTS:
After I finished watching the entire series, I talked about it with the same friend who recommended it to me and I found out that he meant another show (2 Moons 2). hahaha. Oh well. In any case, I had so much fun watching this series. Maybe it was a blessing in disguise. ;-)

2 Moons may seem light and fluffy but then again, I think we need some of that in our lives from time to time. Although it is not a perfect series but if you love cute and sweet school dramas (or you need a brief respite from heavy dramas, evil characters and complicated stories), then this is for you.

I have re-watched the entire series for more than 5 times already and for me that is the best compliment a show could have. Have fun watching!

P.S. After waching this series, I was very sad when I found out that the main characters were changed in "2 Moons 2". Initially I did not plan on watching "2 Moons 2" because of the casting change from the first series but I could not help it. So after a month or so of restraining myself, I gave in eventually. haha. Hoping also to see more film/TV projects from the actors especially Khim , Bas and even better performance from Godt perhaps? hehe

(For "2 Moons 2" series, see my separate review)

Just a bit of background on how I discovered this series. :-) Last February, I started to get hooked in this drama and unexpectedly discovered Thai BL. That time I was started to get bored already with all the kdrama I've been watching and so I decided to explore what other dramas have many views on streaming videos online. And so I chanced upon this newly released series at that time. I checked its synopsis and it looked quite good so I decided to give it a chance. (Just recently I found out that it was trending on twitter. Sorry, I don't have a twitter account so its hype (million tweets?) was lost on me.

Anyhow, on to my review. Let me emphasize that these are just my personal views on the series and you may or may not agree with me once you get to watch it (which I hope you will).

STORY:
So the basic premise of this story is that Tine (played by Metawin) decided to have a fake boyfriend in the person of Sarawat (played by Bright) to ward off Green (played by Gun) who had been stalking him in the school campus . Eventually, Tine and Sarawat develop their feelings for each other during the course of the series (it was found out later in the story that Sarawat already had feelings for Tine even before the latter propositioned the fake boyfriend arrangement). There is the usual secrecy issues (hiding their relationship from friends and relatives) as well as jealousy issues including a girl from Sarawat's past thrown in for additional spice. There are also side relationship stories between Tine's brother and Sarawat's friend as well as between Sarawat's brother and another student who was interested in Tine.

The story started out strong but I feel that it somehow lost the spark between the main characters later on. What started out as a legit BL series, it kinda was losing "kilig" in the romance department in the last few episodes of the series. It really had a good potential but somehow I was a bit disappointed especially in the last episode. I have already lost hope for a "bed scene" (or even the barest hint thereof) between Tine and Sarawat by episode 12 of the series. But I was expecting a bit more than a a casual interaction between them. I mean just a"high five"? Really? In short, I was "nakulangan" ("it fell short" - in Tagalog). 2gether had a good buildup of story and characters rising to a beautiful crescendo of emotions but it's denouement fell a bit flat.

Let me emphasize that I don't consider a bed scene as essential to having a good BL story. As seen in other good shows like Theory of Love, SOTUS and Love by Chance (to name a few), a graphic sex scene or torrid kissing is not necessary all the time in BL series. What is more important is the relationship spark (and not just plain camaraderie) between the characters and how it translates in their interactions with one another in such a way that the audiences see and feel it through the sreen. In the end, I think 2gether kinda felt more like a "bromance" thing rather than a legit BL series.

CAST:
It is undeniable that the main characters of 2gether are both handsome which makes their pairing an aesthetic gift to the audiences. However, beyond the visuals their thespian talent speaks another story. Bright (Sarawat) pales in comparison to Win (Tine) in the acting department. Win shines as Tine in all his goofiness or awkwardness and the audience could really empathize in his sentimental moments. On the other hand, Bright as Sarawat has moments of "dry" acting and sometimes has this poker face and "mukhang tanga" (looks dumb) facial expressions in reaction to dialogue even between him and his supposed lover Tine. Bright even has this quirk of showing uneven eyes with a slightly open mouth (or was that a smirk?). It's difficult to specifically explain it but once you see the series, you'll get what I mean. :-) The difference between the two is quite shocking considering that Bright supposedly has appeared in other previous dramas before 2gether while Win only lists 2gether as his first drama here in MDL. If that is so, then Win is such a good find and has the look and talent to make it big in future dramas. As opposed to him, Bright needs more improvement in acting. After all, an actor cannot depend on mere handsomeness alone (although he is generously blessed with it). He has good potential but I think he needs more acting workshops perhaps?

I will not dwell too much with the other characters too much. Suffice it to say that their degree of acting skills is just at par with their supporting roles. I would just like to especially mention the characters Mil and Phukong (played by Mil and Frank who were previously the main characters in 'You're my Boy' another BL series). Both of them were good here it's just that their story felt somehow hurried and I wish they will comeback in season 2 of this series (if any) or in another BL series perhaps? Also, the characters playing Type and Man had good scenes including the sad and funny parts. ;-)

MUSIC:
Loved the songs played in the series. The opening theme is an upbeat rock anthem which I think accurately reflects the youthful energy of the characters in the series. I especially loved this instrumental piano song being played in the background in the sentimental scenes. Songs as well as actual performances of the band Scrubb are in the series. Their songs are more of the indie rock type and the lyrics and melody are quite good. My most favorite song (and performance) in 2gether was the one by Sarawat himself and he dedicated it to Tine in front of many people during the music contest scene in the last episode. How sweet right? :-) In hindsight, I guess I am a sucker for this kind of scene wherein the main character dedicates a song to his lovedone - just like what happened in 2 Moons. haha

PRODUCTION:
Basically, most of the scenes happen in a school campus. The scenes and its cast felt right at home with their environment and the costumes looked good even during the out of school scenes (I especially loved the casual clothes of Tine). Choosing good songs and musical score is much appreciated since it fit right in the scenes.

I could really see the efforts of the production team in making the scenes more authentic. I would like to cite the music club scenes and especially the concert scenes - those could not have been easy.

The script had good scenes and dialogues albeit some were delivered subpar by the cast. It had funny dialogues and the most memorable one for me was - "Keep looking at me like that and I will kiss (you) till you drop" which was spoken by Sarawat (I loved you Bright in that scene. hehe). I also laughed at the 'condom bouquet' given to SarawaTine like a housewarming gift. haha

Considering that the director Champ helmed other (and I think better) BL stories before (i.e. Senior Secret Love, Kiss me Again), I had high expectations in 2Gether. But then again, no matter how good a director is, there are just some limitations that one can do with the talents of its cast and the difficulties of the production efforts especially during these times of the pandemic. It was a good effort nonetheless. Congrats P'Champ! :-D

FINAL THOUGHTS:
However, despite its shortcomings, it's a feel-good series involving young love. I especially liked its message that one could love a person regardless of sex/gender. 2gether is a breath of fresh air. If you wanna take a rest from other serious dramas and you wanna try the cutesy type of romance, then this is for you.

Considering the difficulties brought about by recent events, I think it somehow affected the making of this series. I could just imagine the various limitations to the production team in finishing the scenes. Nevertheless, it was a good series and one could only hope for the further development of its story and characters (crossing fingers for 2nd season).

In any case, I am hoping for a sequel to show more depth in the relationship of SarawaTine as well as the development of the love stories of the TypeMan and MilPhukong pairings. Have fun watching!

P.S. If you liked this 2gether, may I suggest you also try watching "2 Moons" series. :-)
