dont try to find sense, JUST ENJOY

●HOW I CAME TO IT
I watched this movie back in 2017 in china, in a theatre first-day second show, with a Chinese friend whom I met that very day, and to spend some more time she treated me to a movie. Basically, I thought it to be an English movie but it was a mix of Chinese, Hindi, and English, so I enjoyed it to the fullest.

●STORY
You know treasure hunt. It's the same, when an Indian princess teams up with a Chinese archeologist to hunt for her legacy, connects Chinese and Indian culture, and when they find it when ultimate Bollywood stereotype villains come after him.

●PLOT VIEW
The movie starts with a big CGI battle, showing an ancient story trying to give a base to the modern story had a bad CGI but it was ok. It felt like a sequel to JC, The Myth as there is a painting of Princess Ok Sun from and JC name is also Jack.
It was a simple fun plot with lots of humor and relaxing moment. In many of the previous movies too Jackie chan played an archeologist, so I kind of feel the same vibe.
It had its fair share of slapstick action which is still refreshing. The thing which I didn’t like is showing China as a great country, while Dubai with camels and India with snake charmers, although it was a fun element, these two countries have far more than camels and snakes.
The kung fu with a touch of Bollywood was crafty
The ending was simple and educational, that we should learn to respect our legacy and true treasures left by our ancestors.
When I watched this movie in China, I was surprised how the Chinese audience enjoyed and laughed throughout.

●ACTING/CAST
Jackie Chan was excellent in his stunts and comic expressions. He hasn't disappointed his fans and he brings in a surprise dance performance in the item song. There are a lot of bad reviews about his choice of movie and acting, I mean come on he is old but he still maintained his old Jackie who is in a good shape, despite the age.
but to be honest only Sonu Sood as Randall is good but he could have been better. Disha Patni as Asmita and Amyra Dastur as Kyra was beautiful indeed but they don’t know how to act and they are really newbies in Bollywood too. I wish if they had picked some good cast from Bollywood.
Lay Zhang as Xiao Guang had been my eye candy, and I pinched my friend to get information regarding him.

●MUSIC
Yes, the music is incomplete without the mention of a Bollywood-style item song, which is incredible showing the whole cast dancing to a Chinese song but in Indian style. Choreographer Farah Khan did a splendid job giving a wonderful sequence that isn't difficult for anyone to perform. I enjoyed every bit of it. And Sonu Sood struggles to dance in his movies but here he seemed comfortable and handsome.

●REWATCH
Like 7 or 8 times I had watched it. I gave it a 10 for rewatch because it lifts the mood with its hilarious comic sequence.

●APPRECIATION
The cultural appreciation.
Beautiful scenes from all the countries

●FAV SCENE
Car chase and lion
Kyra and Jones in the cage

●RECOMMENDATION
Kung Fu Yoga doesn't take itself too seriously and that is what makes its charm. It's an entertaining movie that works best when you switch your brain off and try to enjoy the ride. It offers a colorful, exotic, and explosive change from your everyday life.

●AFTEREFFECT
I went in for JC but I came out as a fan of Zhang Yixing with a not-stop appreciation for his dancing
