I had high hopes for this drama as I am a fan of fantasy dramas and it got so many positive feedbacks while airing. I will tell its good and bad points

Good points
1. Great chemistry between two leads, both Xu Kai and Bai Lu did a pretty good job.

2. Supporting casts are pretty impressive as well, especially Jiang Wu and Qin Zhi Yan.

3. Interesting storyline, and not very bad CGI. The cinematography is nice and costumes that Zhao Yao wore are really beautiful.

4. The character build-up is really innovative. I have never watched a drama, in which both of the leads are portrayed as evil characters.

5. The sismance between Zhao Yao and Zhi Yan is really funny.

The early 35 episodes are really good but after that, the story start getting a little boring.

Bad points
1. The editing is really mediocre, especially the ending. I am not saying whether the ending is good or bad but it was edited really badly. It is really confusing to understand how the story gets from one point to another in the last two episodes.

2. There are so many repetitive flashback scenes in the last few episodes. I accept fillers but not repetitive fillers.

3. It is a lengthy drama, I believe it should be 45 episodes at most.

Overall, thus drama is not very bad considering that the first 35 episodes are impressive. If you love a badass female lead, this is the right drama for you.
