The first three episodes were excellent and I found the protagonist to be very interesting and charismatic. The music also got my attention and I really liked it from the start. However, I really disliked where the writers took the plot after that.

I really wished the drama focused on Kim Jiyong brutally murdering criminals, trying to avoid getting caught while balancing his life as a policeman and vigilante.

Unfortunately in the second half the protagonist just ends up against a massive criminal gang and conspiracy, which really frustrated me and took the drama into a wrong direction entirely. In the end the drama devolved into an utterly ridiculous, unrealistic, forgettable and generic action spectacle.


Really disappointing because I very much enjoyed the concept and start of the drama. I think the drama would have worked better if it took a more grounded and realistic approach, fully focusing on Kim Jiyong and the psychological side of him working as the Vigilante. Taking influences from "Flower of Evil" and "My Name" would have worked excellently in this drama and made it much better.




Summary: Protagonist is an interesting and well-acted character, music is excellent and fits the drama perfectly. All other character were quite uninteresting and unnecessary. Plot is good at first but completely falls of a cliff and deteriorates in the second half.
