Disappointed with the given message

I just hastily went through the book and did not read it completely because it was really off for me. The series was interesting at first. Later when the toxicity begins to overflow I just wished Itt would have a break with Day and have some proper medical help. I don't know why most of the viewers did not notice but Itt is just a tickling bomb with really bad mental health. I don't get his parents either. Without helping their son to get a better treatment they just throw him into the hands of a abuser. I won't justify any of them but the storyline that was offered in series was enough for me to understand, Itt is really a mentally unstable personal. This is the first drama I'm disappointed with the happy ending. They should have end it on better note.
