A feel-good drama
If you have loved Go Ahead then this might be your cup of tea, or even Hospital Playlist. The series has a warm, feel-good vibe to it that is even more enhanced by the excellent acting of everyone. Lusi's acting as usual is enthralling, from making the audience laugh to making them cry, she has nailed it as usual. The character development of the main leads were significant and praiseworthy. The transitions of seasons and their meanings that were illustrated were beautiful and informative.
However, there are things I did not like
-- There were too many characters that kept getting added, hence main plot was compromised a little.
-- The main leads should have gotten some more time, and I am talking about Tian Zhen and Tou Tou
-- The family sometimes seemed warm to Tou Tou and then at any given chance she made a mistake, and she was discarded, Tian Zhen included. Their love story's progress was abrupt, one moment TZ treats her like a friend, and next, we know, he says he likes someone and that's TT.
-- Hoped for a better apology by both Master and his wife when they just made TT leave without believing her.
-- I was looking forward to the development of the 5 focal characters including TT and TZ, but the sub-plots kept cutting the flow.
-- The last bit felt rushed, and [SPOLER] when master declared TT is his daughter, after that no one seemed to care lol. Also after that benefactor was becoming better, his wife and mom just stopped visiting.
--the sudden onslaught of covid, didn't see that coming.
And yet! I loved the story and would watch it again. I loved the father-daughter kind of relationship between master and TT. I would have loved special though with TT living as TZ's gf.

LLike a warm and nostalgic cuppa
I don't know why but when I had initially tried watching this show, I couldn't. When I tried the second time, I realized that with each episode I wanted to know more about the story of SWJ and HDJ. The story for me felt like a warm yet nostalgic cuppa. It's a melodrama so expecting to instantly like or get hooked on the 1st episode is not a good idea. I liked the development of the main characters. They were both flawed yet at the core, both of them were good, I think DongJin and Woojoo were the best for each other because he was initially a pushover and needed someone to not pity him but show him what he was doing not entirely right, and someone needed to make Woojoo realize that taking revenge wouldn't make everything go back to normal. I would, however, want the reunion to be a bit longer, but it aligned well with the rest of the episode. The filter, the back and forth of the times, and the prologues at the beginning of some episodes made the show interesting. However, it would have been better if it was 12 episodes rather than 16. But I would say this is worth watching because you will see how a broken girl could be strong enough to protect the right people.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
A fluffy lovestory
I was not sure how this story would be but it had friends to lovers trope and I am a sucker for that trope so dived head-on into the series. I was surprised at how engaging the content was. There's no toxicity in the series lemme tell you which was like woahhh for cdrama lol but it was one clean, wholesome and loveable series.Acting wise the FL did a great job and so did ML. Sometimes I did feel ML's acting could be improved but he wasn't a block of ice. The friends of both FL and ML were hilarious and had good comic timings so where FL's parents.
Story was fluffy and yeah at times at the end i was a bit confused with time skips but it was okay. However, I got major nostalgia watching the school days oh how I miss mine and the fact that I will never experience a love like theirs 🥲 that is from childhood to adulthood I think only lucky ones get this and I am not someone who is lucky in any way🥺
Anyway guysss go ahead because Ling Chao is a walking GREEN flag y'all. He raised standards. Also who doesn't love a wholesome story without much drama and mad SMLs trying to force leads apart. This is so gooood 🫶🏻

A beautiful journey through time
Yes beautiful because it was. Despite being a mystery thriller, the romance was beautifully executed. I had no idea that hand holding and simple hugs could be shown so beautifully. Loved this drama from beginning to end. I wish YY knew her son but then again not knowing is best. Also loved the way the last bits were tied up. I am happy that all was well in the end. But I wanted to know how HJ's mom was faring but oh well. I loved the bike riding scene n the happy glimpses of the present. I am still confused about that loop hole though but anyway It's been a long time since I have watched 10/10 drama. A must watch this one.Esta resenha foi útil para você?

A beautiful love song in narrative
I loved this drama for two things--main leads were my fave from the beginning
-- the story and the complicated narrative of it.
I say complicated because in the beginning eps, it took me some time to gather everything, understand the facts, and why things were happening the way they were happening.
-- however, even if you don't watch the prequel you will be able to understand and that's what I liked about it the most.
The other facts that made me watch this drama till the end
-- the SMLs were too cuties and they were both brilliant in their characters. Their story was a good and slow burn, I wish they had more lovey-dovey scenes lol. anyway, but it was nice and more than that they were great friends. Like the support they gave each other is to envy.
-- the supporting characters, a few of them mainly positive ones. They were too good, even the Underworld king was a cutie pie.
Now we come to the negatives
-- the last bit [spoiler] somewhat hopeful or semi-happy ending is what I don't like about these xianxia dramas. One of the MLs either dies or when they return we don't even get a hug!
-- lack of communication between MLs which once again teaches us that COMMUNICATE with your beloved. The whole fiasco would have been solved in 24 eps had the miscommunication didn't happen.
I don't believe the male lead because he did what he had to, I am not sure why people hating on him. My man had to give a verdict based on evidence. People are forgetting that he had become a God, and when has God ever been in anybody's favor? But yet again that communication gap gave birth to soooo many misunderstandings that we didn't even get a proper ending. I demand a special ep like the Story of Kunning Palace!

Love lost and found
So I kinda like the movie more than the drama. Well, the drama was already good but I was craving some happy moments between leads which was not tinged with sadness and here, that happens. The crumbs they serve here are in big chunks and gawd I am all there for it. I would happily say this is more like a continuation because otherwise, it wouldn't make sense of how LJW thinking of HYX when she teleported to the past, also the two timelines they show simultaneously. It was so sad but MJJ was alive so I liked it even more!! I liked there was not much killing n all lol, also we got a better ending than the drama! although extended ver showed still. This ending is way better to soothe my heart.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
A love through space and time
I loved this masterpiece. Although I'd get confused damn this is worth the watch. The love that the main leads had for each other. Damn, I can't get over it. Also, love the ML and the FL's acting. OST is on loop in my player. Kudos to the whole team. I couldn't keep my phone down. I stayed up till 3 am on weekdays!!! the mystery, the drama, and the pureness of their love were just... I thought I knew the story by the 7th ep but my oh my, things got interesting and scarier. I would love the main leads to star in another drama again. And want the ML to get a main lead role super soon because he is so handsome and cute!!Esta resenha foi útil para você?
The Hilarious, Angsty, Romantic and yet Non-Toxic Drama of this Decade
This drama is no short of getting 10s in every aspect!Firstly, a huge round of applause and immense appreciation for Kim Bbang, author of the book Tomorrow’s Best. Thank you writer-nim for bringing this beautiful novel into existence because who knows if there would be a loose adaption of this book if you hadn’t written this.
Secondly, the director, scriptwriter, actors, and team, take a bow for stringing together an amazing and enchanting yet detailed narrative that blended romcom, angst, and thriller so beautifully that it managed to always keep the audience on the edge in every episode.
Things that I loved the most in this show [because I don’t have any dislikes for LR!]:
- RSJ was just a boy next door who IS ignored in her original timeline, which made this show instantly different from others. For once I was glad here the guy wasn’t the school/college hunk whom every girl fawned over. It was a coincidence how many of us subeoms never noticed BWS playing insignificant characters[I didn’t notice him until 20th Century Girl!]
- The show proves that audience are craving for non-toxic, positive male leads who don’t just shout and act like they don’t care but then suddenly there’s a change in their character midway. I love the Green Forest RSJ and wish to see more MLs like him. BWS is effortlessly funny and pulls every version of SJ from a school going kid, to a college-goer, to an idol and an actor flawlessly
- KHY did a wonderful job of portraying a fan girl and a lover. I was skeptical about how they would portray IS once she fell in love with SJ, but the transition was beautiful. I loved how KHY brought out the side a fangirl has, the madness, the need to keep up with their idol’s life, and then the devastation of seeing their idol pass away prematurely. Her powerful acting made the transition easy, and when IS lost SJ as her lover, the emotions were completely different.
- The lewserism that SJ oozed is such a treat. It’s not cringey or overdone but done in the right amount. Oh, he is MinMin’s descendant I tell you lol.
- The supporting actors were equally good, especially Baek Inhyuk. I am glad they managed to squeeze in his backstory. Actually, despite less screen time, almost all characters have a good backstory [IDC about taxi driver]
- Special thanks to Gonghee, he is one of the BEST SMLs there is. He wasn’t clingy or even someone who wanted to create misunderstanding. He was there as a supportive friend to the FL even when she was time traveling.
- This show has little to zero misunderstandings and I loved it. I am so glad that there were no severe arguments or fallouts. This show managed to squeeze as many tropes in romcom as can be and still managed to balance them out to not overwhelm the audience.
- The parallels that were shown were so beautifully and seamlessly blended, different yet the same but never boring.
I am so so glad to be a part of this drama while it was on-air. While I am sad, I am also happy that it just pulled off so well. I will miss the madness and obsession I had with this show. Never have I ever been this unhinged over a drama. The theories, the comments, and everything, I will miss this! This show is even more special because of its organic success! The way fate aligned the stars to make this happen is sometimes astonishing. From it being shelved for 3 years because actors rejected the script, BWS taking it up, to no PPL because no one had hope for this drama, not even TvN, and YET this drama emerges victorious, delivering top-notch content from excellent acting to direction to cinematography. Everyone associated with the drama deserves the praise and fame they are getting. Thank you, LR for giving me a wonderful 2 months. Thank you for keeping me hopeful when my life had suddenly gone haywire. I am going to rewatch this show again.
