Song Yu Vin is main vocalist and member of the boy group MYTEEN under entertainment company The Music Works. He is a graduate of Hanlim Multi Arts High School. He was a contestant and Top 5 finalist on the sixth season of the television talent show series Superstar K. He appeared in "Bang" music video by GB9 and ''SobokSobok'' music video by Kim So Hee and Fiestar's Yezi.

He debuted as a soloist with releasing digital single "To The Bone It's You" featuring BTOB's Minhyuk on May 30, 2016. He sang original soundtrack for many dramas, such as "Love & Secret" (2014), "The Girl Who Sees Smells" (2015), "Goodbye Mr. Black" (2016), "Bring It On, Ghost" (2016), "Chief Kim" (2017), and "What's Wrong with Secretary Kim" (2018).

He was a host on the eighth season of reality show The Friends titled "The Friends in Costa Rica" together with Eric Nam and Sam Kim. He was a contestant on variety show "Idol Acting Competition - I'm an Actor". He and all the other members of MYTEEN made special appearance on the eleventh episode of the American comedy television series "I Feel Bad" as themself and aired on December 13, 2018, on the American television network NBC.

After training for five years and two months, he made his appearance as a contestant on boy group survival reality show Produce X 101.
