Must Watch (Dramas List)
These are ordered by priority, but it doesn't mean I'll pick them up in that order.
-
1. Death Notify: The Darker
Chinese Drama - 2014, 46 episodes
I'd be less worried if it was a movie. I'm worried the drama will lose itself as it goes on or something like this.
-
2. Battle of Changsha
Chinese Drama - 2014, 32 episodes
It seemed like a beautiful and ingenuous drama, but the amount of episodes draws me back a little.
-
3. Drama Special Series Season 1: White Christmas
Korean Special - 2011, 8 episodes
-
4. Three Kingdoms
Chinese Drama - 2010, 95 episodes
-
5. História de um Assalariado
Korean Drama - 2012, 22 episodes
I'm biased.
What's new, really?
-
6. Máquina de Escrever Chicago
Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes
Not only this has great reviews, but also Yoo A In and, yes, I'm biased, sue me.
This drama has an interesting premises I really want to see how it unveils.
-
7. Gigante
Korean Drama - 2010, 60 episodes
I'm biased and that's all I have to say. I heard this is very good too, but I'm biased and that's that.
-
8. Taira no Kiyomori
Japanese Drama - 2012, 50 episodes
-
9. A Máscara Nupcial
Korean Drama - 2012, 28 episodes
-
10. Duas Semanas
Korean Drama - 2013, 16 episodes
What I'm looking forward to?
Another attempt to explore The Bourne Identity concept just like The Suspect (3.0/10) and many, many others did.
A fast paced and thrilling ride, I hope. But I can't deny I'm worried. 16 eps with 1h-ish each for a drama like this? -
11. O Presente de Deus - 14 Dias
Korean Drama - 2014, 16 episodes
-
12. Triângulo
Korean Drama - 2014, 26 episodes
-
13. Mãe
Japanese Drama - 2010, 11 episodes
-
14. Intocáveis
Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes
-
15. A Horas da Minha Vida
Japanese Drama - 2014, 11 episodes
I've been looking forward to this one since it came out, one of those I really expect something good or nothing at all.
The story seems good, the gifs and picture I saw also made thing it has a good cinematography, but Haruma Miura's acting - as far as I saw - never went too far and this is something different from the characters I've seen him play, so I'm curious.
-
16. Rainha por Sete Dias
Korean Drama - 2017, 20 episodes
-
17. Meninos Antes de Flores
Japanese Drama - 2005, 9 episodes
A drama classic I've been deviating for too much time, I believe.
-
18. Switch Girl!!
Japanese Drama - 2011, 8 episodes
A little rom-com Japanese cheesy drama might be a good call somewhere and I've wanting to check this one out for a while.
-
19. 1% de Qualquer Coisa
Korean Drama - 2003, 26 episodes
I'm someone who enjoyed watching Coffee Prince (9.0/10), Delightful Girl, Choon Hyang (4.5/10) and such other "oldies", so this kind of rings a nostalgic vibe. The plot might be overused and cheesy, but I hope that it won't be forced.
These kinds of dramas tend to be easy-going and light-hearted, not to be taken seriously these days, so I wonder if this one is like this as well.
-
20. Girls' Generation 1979
Korean Drama - 2017, 8 episodes
I might get disappointed with this.
-
21. Escola
Korean Drama - 1999, 16 episodes
