1. Reino
Korean Drama - 2019, 6 episodes
Yet another historical period drama with political power struggles involving the royal family, which at times overshadowed the zombie plot. Interesting interpretation of zombies though, with the obvious blood and gore for such a series. Somewhat disappointed with the season one finale, but curious to see where it goes from there. Would recommend to fans of Train to Busan.

2. Parceira Suspeita
Korean Drama - 2017, 40 episodes
Loved the cute romance between the main leads and their dynamic together, but at times it felt like their relationship went in circles; when one pushed, the other pulled, and vice versa, continuously. The friendship and bonding of their office "family" was very sweet and endearing though. There also could have been a few adjustments to make the plot clearer, as well as some hints dropped that were never followed up on: for example, Ji Wook's comment that a picture of Bong Hee as a child looked familiar. Had the series been a little more cohesive overall, I'd have bumped this to a solid 8.5 rather than just barely making the cut for an 8.0.

3. Romance é um Livro Bônus
Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes
Very comfy and relaxing drama, and all the familiarness between the two leads was great. I wish the female lead didn't try to shoulder so much on her own considering how long their friendship was; he'd have been more than willing to help her if she'd asked. I also really loved the writing and literature anecdotes, and they often left me thinking and thoughtful afterward. Based on vibes alone, it gave me a similar feeling to Because This Is My First Life, and would recommend to fans of that series. On a final note, I could cry over the mention of a female couple in episode two.

4. Vida Incompleta
Korean Drama - 2014, 20 episodes
Good drama; I loved the friendship that grew between the characters, and went from hating Han Suk Yool to him becoming my favorite. His fondness and care for Gue Rae was very endearing. A few of the male workers were downright assholes which occasionally made it hard to watch, but props to their acting. They most likely made the series realistic for what a working woman in South Korea deals with on a regular basis, which is devastatingly unfortunate. If i were to critique anything, the plot felt slow at times and that became more apparent with the hour and a half long episodes; if they'd instead been an hour and bumped the episode count to twenty four, that would've greatly helped. On a final note, I wouldn't recommend this drama to those that are easily bored or prefer action.

5. Professor de Pesadelos
Korean Drama - 2016, 12 episodes
A relatively quick web series, but well done and one of the better web series I've watched. Kim So Hyun was great as always, and I was constantly wondering what would happen next. The episodes with the magic diary genuinely frightened me.

6. Escritório
Korean Movie - 2015
Interesting thriller/horror movie, and constantly unsure whether the murderer was actually a ghost or not. Bae Sung Woo did an excellent job playing a creepy man who murdered his family without a word, and Go Ah Sung did equally well as her character became more and more unhinged.

7. Toque Seu Coração
Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes
Touch Your Heart has by far been my favorite series I've watched so far this year. The leads chemistry is truly magnetic, and I'd watch them another twenty hours if I could.

8. Rastros de um Sequestro
Korean Movie - 2017
Intriguing mystery that continued to make me guess until the truth was revealed. Not a family movie by any means, but a very interesting take on the mystery/crime genre, and downright frightening when you didn't know what was happening and why.

10. Guardians of the Tomb
Chinese Movie - 2018
Monster adventure movie, and while not the best it wasn't the absolute worst. I was fine with super smart murderous spiders, but the lava pit was a bit much for me given the circumstances. Would not want to run into that queen spider. Ever.

11. A Grande Muralha
Chinese Movie - 2016
I went into this with zero expectations and was actually pleasantly surprised. Nothing to gush over, but I enjoyed myself much more than I'd have thought. The cinematography was amazing, and I loved how bright and vibrant everything was; costumes, location, creatures, etc.

12. Ele é Psicométrico
Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes
This had all the makings to be a new top favorite drama for me. I loved the characters, the mystery, and Lee Ahn's ability. But unfortunately, somewhere along the way the writers decided to be cruel and do something unnecessary. The actors all knocked their roles out of the park, absolutely fantastic job, and I never would have guessed Park Jin Young started as an idol, not an actor. I'm really looking forward to seeing more of his work in the future. I don't think I'll be rewatching this, but I enjoyed what it was, for the most part. If only a few things could have been tweaked just a bit.

13. Meus Concidadãos!
Korean Drama - 2019, 36 episodes
I watched this for Choi Siwon because so far I've enjoyed his acting, and I loved the character of Park Hoo Ja; it was great seeing a woman in charge, especially one that didn't take no shit. Overall though, the story was a little mind-numbing when it came to some of the political stuff, but that's more of a personal preference, and also considering what the drama was about, it wasn't out of place. I do think the drama could have been a few episodes shorter though, and wish Jung Kook and Mi Young would've simply had some heart to heart conversations a bit sooner. If you're married, honesty is key.

Dropped.
Cards on the table, I read spoilers that this was a tragic end and I won't put myself through that lmao.

15. A Vida Privada Dela
Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes
I didn't read the comic before watching the show, so I can't say how well of an adaptation it is, but as a standalone drama, I quite enjoyed this. It's definitely on the softer and sweeter side, without too much angst, but still compelling all the same. Additionally, the leads chemistry was like fire, and I would love to see them work together again.

16. Terra à Deriva
Chinese Movie - 2019
Great effects, good story. If this were actually possible, it'd honestly be fascinating, and it's such an interesting idea. Fun action adventure, for the most part.
