1. The Cornered Mouse Dreams of Cheese
Japanese Movie - 2020
this is an all time favorite of mine. its so beautifully written and so many tiny details. its realistic and the actors did an AMAZING job
-
2. Fujoshi, Ukkari Gei ni Kokuru
Japanese Drama - 2019, 8 episodes
I should note this isn't a "BL" but rather a series about a gay high schooler ( Jun ) struggling with homosexuality; wanting to be "normal"
-
3. Eien no Kino
Japanese Drama - 2022, 8 episodes
sad story, may not be for all but was an amazing series overall (I cried heavy tears)
-
4. Contei ao pôr do sol sobre você
Thai Drama - 2020, 5 episodes
presents the issue of struggling to accept yourself with Teh and the flip side with Oh-Aew of being able to accept yourself but falling in love with somebody who cannot
-
5. O Eclipse
Thai Drama - 2022, 12 episodes
I absolutely loved this series. it mixes in a mystery with the right amount of romance which makes this series so good. it presents the issues and struggles of wanting to be somebody perfect and the loss of a loved one
-
6. Kamisama no Ekohiiki
Japanese Drama - 2022, 8 episodes
honestly the plot is a bit messy but this one hit home... Yashiro wishes to be a girl just so that he can be loved by his best friend ( Kenta ) but realizes the pain he causes to other people around him by doing so
-
7. Meu Belo Homem
Japanese Drama - 2021, 6 episodes
I literally do not care what anybody says about this show, it was and is amazing. just... just watch it. I will say Hiras obsessive personality does make me get second-hand embarrassment sometimes but the show is worth those moments LMAO would be number 1 on my personal list but hard to recommend to other people in good faith..

8. His
Japanese Movie - 2020
a continuation movie of the series "His - Koisuru Tsumori Nante Nakatta" when the two ML's have become adults. this is yet again another movie that just stuck out to me, everything in this movie was put together well and made you enjoy every bit
-
9. Eu Não
Thai Drama - 2021, 14 episodes
I feel like im biased with this LMAO I like action intermixed with a bit of romance... one of the few shows I've ever seen have a pride rally and also talks about pressing issues in the real world
-
10. Jack o' Frost
Japanese Drama - 2023, 6 episodes
aghhh I watched this as it was releasing and I loved it so muuuch.. I liked being in the unknown and seeing their story unfold for a second time
