Dramas with great second couples

The grim reaper and Sunny was so good , I was looking forward to them over the actual leads

The second couple in Jason and Pil Suk were sooo sweet

The second couple was sooooo spicy . So happy that the right hand man had some romance action. They are usually presented as eunuchs

There was a middle aged romance I really looked forward to seeing on screen ! The main leads were a whole snooze fest compared to them

The second couple here had more themes  angst and moments that were actually better than the first couple

The second couple of the F4 tea guy and Fl friend is the best in Hana Yori Dango 2 out of all the adaptations 

So many secondary couples in this and they are all better than the main couple

There is a bodyguard and princess trope that literally deserved a spin off

Oh my , the unfortunate swordsman and his love. So sad but had more action than the main couple

The flight stewards romance was done with all the angst that was needed in the fluffy drama
