My favorite dramas
Disclaimer: just because they're my fav doesn't mean they're perfect (even though I wish they were), and all of them are bound to have problems.. Also, the dramas I tend to pick as my fav tend to be different in some ways than what I usually see (mostly in kdramas) and are decent enough with those factors.. (and because of those factors I tend to love it so much). Definitely wish that there are other dramas out there that have some of these factors and do it better than the dramas listed but there's really not a lot of other dramas that do it better..

1. Além do Mal
Korean Drama - 2021, 16 episodes
Okay this is my new ultimate favorite!!!!! Words cannot describe how much I am literally obsessed with it fr!!! ;) I haven't felt so in love with a kdrama in a loongg time. There have been ones that I loved a lot like the other ones on this list but my love for this drama is literally on another level!! Yes this drama obviously has its flaws. I will say that the mystery part of it is kinda interesting but it isn't mindblowing.. I feel like the way it was presented and the characters and their relationships and some growths are what really stood out to me and loved . And so it is now my ultimate favorite. Also, I've got to say that this is one of the dramas I've watched in a long time where I was satisfied with where the story led and how it ended. Often times in kdramas and stuff I feel like near the end it tends to drag or rush and the ending in not satisfying but for this one it wasn't the case for me. It did kinda feel somewhat rushed near the end but I still ended the drama feeling satisfied with the ending (it didn't feel too over the top or anything; it just felt sort of natural). (If I could change the story I kinda feel like I would want to change the culprit but then that would change some other things like how it affected the other characters (which I liked seeing in this drama) so idk I love the drama the way it is, flaws and all.)

5. Uma Segunda Chance
Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes
It did drag at times and the stories of the side characters, which I thought would continue on throughout the drama, were pushed off to the side only to be resolved in the last couple of episodes, but it was a good drama!! Made me cry a lot too

6. A Caminho do Céu

7. Responde 1988

8. Conexão: Comer, Amar e Matar
Korean Drama - 2022, 16 episodes
I feel like this drama is more of a guilty pleasure for me... Idk why but I enjoyed it soo much despite seeing so many flaws or things that could have been done better. I think this may be also due to the fact that I love the main actor and actress in this drama lol.. I personally enjoyed the journeys the main leads take too!

9. Círculo
Korean Drama - 2017, 12 episodes
Very underappreciated drama.... Yeah it has flaws and small plot holes but overall it's a very interesting drama and I haven't seen a drama like this one.. it's definitely one of a kind. I also really liked how they structured the episodes, especially in the first half of the drama

10. Idade da Juventude
Korean Drama - 2016, 12 episodes
Honestly has a very unique style, even for slice of life. It's not just slice of life or humor but also the hardships of life, existing in this world, etc.. Literally there's no other drama like this. Be Melodramatic kinda has the same vibe but nothing can compare! (I want to rate it higher for its uniqueness and its realistic portrayal with life and problems in society, but idk 7/10 seems like the right rating for this drama for me.)

11. Idade da Juventude 2
Korean Drama - 2017, 14 episodes
(This is just the second season to Age of Youth, so I added it because I definitely enjoyed it as much as season 1, maybe mostly for the same reasons I enjoyed season 1 but also for other factors in season 2 I enjoyed. In season 2, I feel like there was a bit more psychology aspect to it which I enjoyed and slightly more importance to Ji Won's story and introduction to Jo eun and Jang hoon which I also really enjoyed. There are some things that didn't particularly vibe with me which is why I rated this slightly lower than the 1st season but overall it was good!)
