Siming
I just find it interesting that Siming is a popular god in Xianxia. I mean there are others that are too such as the God of War, a popular pick, and of course the lord of Heaven, the demon lord and the Moon lord, etc. etc. But I like it whenever Siming appears, so I wanted to keep track of Siming.
Recently, we enabled character profiles. I think it'd be really cool if character profiles could allow us to see the ways in which certain characters exist across storylines. So, how is Siming interpreted differently across many xianxia dramas, or certain historical figures. For example if there was a character profile for King Sejong that would be so cool to be able to track all of his appearances across dramaland!
A note: in the novel Peach Blossom Debt by Da Feng Gua Guo, the protagonist's human form is named Li Siming. I thought this was very fitting since he has taken human form to oversee a set of trials between two immortals in the human realm, and so he is controlling their human fate. I don't think he is meant to actually represent the xian Siming, but his name is probably a reference to the xian. The person who acts most like xian Siming is actually Mingge Xingjun (not our protagonist) who writes the book of fate. Anyway thought this was a cool detail and wanted to share ^_^

1. Si Ming
Chinese Drama - 0000, 36 episodes

2. Amor e Destino
Chinese Drama - 2019, 60 episodes
Here Siming is known as Star Lord Si Ming. (I'm guessing he's related to the big dipper based off of his name in TMOPB as well.)
He is kind of a pushover in this (I never finished the show), and I think he was only in charge of mortals, keeping track of fates in mirrors or books? Something like that.

3. Amor Eterno
Chinese Drama - 2017, 58 episodes
Siming is a fairly serious worker here who helps out quite a bit. However he also has a mischevious side and is a bit nosey. A fun and interesting supporting character.
I think Siming's power was only over the mortal realm, and he was fairly strict about his use of power (like when Yehua asked Siming to punish a mortal). There were times when he made exceptions for his peers though. He was playful and kind to the FL. He is also known as Lord of Dipper of South according to MDL. If I remember correctly, I think his love fates were in red strings and he was a bit of a playboy.

4. Amor entre Fada e Demônio
Chinese Drama - 2022, 36 episodes
Siming is a minor character here. Her fates work for both mortals and immortals for some reason, and are written on leaves that come from a tree. The fates books, as they're called, occur as poems that function like outlines. Fate can be changed, and when there is a gap between the veins of a leaf, it means that a person's life line has been broken or something.
Also it included that sacred mirror that shows the future.
SPOILER: Siming is exiled from the three realms because she fell in love with a dragon and it broke fate or something.

5. Amor e Redenção
Chinese Drama - 2020, 59 episodes
I don't remember Siming in this at all but apparently he was here. Might have to rewatch it just to find out his traits and how his magic worked. I think he was a generally good-hearted guy though.
