GIF ratio orientation on MDL site

Why is the gif ratio so different in the app and site??
The gif I upload in my feeds is chopped off and the ratio is somewhat unpleasant, but it is fine in the app and the site I use on my laptop..  
Is this a common issue or is it just me??

Where is the issue? You mentioned that both the app and the site are fine.

The problem is while using the site on my phone. The edges are chopped off.

Is it just my phone’s orientation problem ??? I tried using it on different phones but it's just the same.. So people using sites might be viewing my gif like this, right??
