Modern day romantic C dramas with strong female lead.

Need help with your recommendations! I'm tired of wimpy and frail female leads in dramas. I want to watch someone strong, smart, and independent! 

I've already watched the following and loved them:

1. Ode to Joy I and II (bonus points if your recommendation has the male and female leads top the chemistry of Wang Kai and Wang Ziwen) 

2. When a Snail Falls in Love

3. Our Glamorous Time

4. Love Me If You Dare

I know you've seen it, but for thoers, Go Go Squid - She's her own person and the ML acknowledges her intellectual superiority (double degree, doing a doctorate)

The Love Equations - The FL is VERY MUCH the alpha in the pairing even though the ML is smarter. She also calls him on his cr*p when needed

Go Go Squid is one of my favourite recent dramas. =) Such a good show and definitely recommend for others! I don't know why I didn't include it in my initial post. 

I just looked up the synopsis for The Love Equations and I'm intrigued! Sounds like there might be some crime/criminal investigation involved and I love that. I think I'll definitely be putting this on my watch list. Thanks!

Thanks for the recommendation! I'll be sure to check these out. =) I've already watched Love, Now and it's one of my favourites Taiwanese dramas ever! Indeed that their chemistry is sooo good - if only we see more of these in dramas! 

Oh glad you also love Love Now. Its one of those low key hidden gems. If you like that, maybe You hace also seen Inborn Pair. Its not on par with Love Now in story or chemistry. But still a good watch. Plus female lead is same strong character and played by the same actress, Annie chen.
