This year, many historical Chinese dramas were released. Although most had the same themes and sad endings, they were all extraordinary and beloved dramas. Which drama did you like and why?

Among 7 options, The Double is my favorite. It's happy ending on special episode.

The Double is a revenge drama of an abandoned wife who gets a completely new identity. FL is a smart and talented woman who becomes the center of the drama, everyone and everything revolves around her, reacted according to her moves. While ML acts as a helper but also using her to get rid of his (boss, the emperor's) enemies/obstacles.

Wu Jin Yan is an expert in portraying a smart scheming woman, and Wang Xing Yue is charming as always as ML, (I'm excited about his upcoming drama with Bai Lu as it's a male-centric drama, which is new for him). I love the dynamic of the two, not hero save damsel in distress but hero save heroines. They're great.

Side couple consists of a heartless husband and a psychopath princess is a good combination as the villain team. And their shaky and toxic relationship based on force and threat is very interesting to watch.

Overall it's a great drama, it even got my cousin out of drama slump (but she's drowning back, so I'll wait for Guardians of Dafeng to get her out again as Under The Skin S2 can't).
