Pakistan's Remake of Descendants of the Sun Is Not Happening!

We already know that Disney is producing a Live Action of the classic animated movie Mulan (1998). Like the animated movie, it will be about the legend of Hue Mulan, a brave woman who disguises herself as a man in order to save her father from going to the Chinese army. Liu Yifei(known for The Forbidden Kingdom and The Assassins) was chosen to be Mulan. It has also been confirmed that the live action will not be a musical like the original.
It was recently announced that Donnie Yen (Star Wars: Rogue One), Gong Li(Memories of a Geisha), Jet Li(Hero) and Xana Tang will be joining Liu Yfei in the adaptation.
According to various websites, Donnie Yen will be playing commander Tung, who will be Mulan’s mentor and professor. Jet Li will be playing the emperor of China, responsible for mobilizing the country's troops by enlisting all the men of the country. Xana Tang will be Mulan’s sister, and Gong Li was cast to play a powerful witch who is going to be the villain of the adaptation.
Still no information about who will be playing Lee Shang & Mulan's friends (Chien-Po, Yao and Ling).
Mulan will be directed by Niki Caro (The Zookeeper’s Wife), written by Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver (Planet of Apes: Origins) and cinematography by Mandy Walker (Hidden Figures & Tracks). The live-action adaptation was originally set to premiere on November 2, 2018, but has now been delayed two years. It's now scheduled for release on March 27, 2020. Also, the filming is set to begin in August of 2018, with filming locations in China and New Zealand.
