Shin Ye Eun, who made waves by turning into a villain through the Netflix series "The Glory", is taking on her first historical drama.
SBS's new Monday-Tuesday drama, "Romantic Guest House" will premiere on March 20. Penned by screenwriters Kwon Eum Mi, Kim Ja Hyun and helmed by director Kim Jung Min, the KDrama will have a refreshing mystery romance created by Yoon Dan Oh (played by Shin Ye Eun), the owner of the boarding house called "Ihwawon Inn" whose current guests include scholars taking the civil service entrance exam in the hopes of becoming high-ranking officials..
Shin Ye Eun will go beyond the strong presence revealed in OTT, such as "Revenge of Others" and "The Glory" through "Romantic Guest House" and show off her ever-advancing acting skills in this ground-wave historical drama.
On February 17, SBS released the first scene in which Shin Ye Eun appeared as the MZ empress of the Joseon Dynasty and the owner of "Ihwawon Inn."
This is a situation where Yoon Dan Oh is actively promoting the Joseon version of the guest house, "Ihwawon Inn," shouting "Ihwawon to pass the civil service entrance exam" on the street. Then, with a sales smile as bright as the sun, Yoon Dan Oh waves a sign with a promotional message written on it, burning her passion for recruiting boarders for the 'Ihwawon.'
