Extraordinary Attorney Woo's Kang Tae Oh in talks to lead the historical K-drama
Shin Se Kyung will reportedly be the female lead in the upcoming K-drama "Sejak" (세작).
After reports of Jo Jung Suk leading the upcoming series "Sejak" (세작), it was also revealed on December 23rd that Shin Se Kyung would also join the upcoming K-drama.
Shin Se Kyung's agency EDAM Entertainment confirmed the reports that the actress has received the offer to star in the series. According to the agency, Shin Se Kyung is currently reviewing the offer.
Early today, it was also revealed that Jo Jung Suk is reviewing the offer to star in the upcoming k-drama.
"Sejak" (세작) will depict the cruel love story of King Lee In who is in danger because of royal and political power and Kang Hee Soo who is seducing the King for revenge.
Shin Se Kyung got the offer to play the role of Kang Hee Soo who will do her best to take her revenge on King Lee In.
The upcoming series will be penned by Kim Sung Deok ("The Crowned Clown").
There is no official announcement yet on the release of "Sejak" (세작).
Aside from "Sejak" (세작), Shin Se Kyung will also be the new female lead of the upcoming "Arthdal Chronicles Season 2 ." She will work alongside Lee Joon Gi, Jang Dong Gun, Kim Ok Bin, Shin Joo Hwan, and Lee Ho Chul.
Shin Se Kyung rested in 2022 as she didn't appear in any k-dramas and movies. She last starred in the 2020 k-drama "Run On" with ZE: A's Yim Si Wan, Girls Generation's Choi Soo Young, Kang Tae Oh, Park Young Gyu, and Cha Hwa Yun.
The actress made her acting debut in 2004. Since then, she has starred in several works such as "Queen Seon Duk," "High Kick Through the Roof!," "Fashion King," "When a Man's in Love," "The Girl Who Sees Scents," "Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung," "My Little Bride," "Soar into the Sun," "Tazza 2: The Hidden Card," and more.
