Extraordinary Attorney Woo's Kang Tae Oh in talks to lead the historical K-drama
Park Gyu Young will reportedly join the cast of the upcoming K-drama Nine Puzzle.
On January 30, media outlet OSEN reported that Park Gyu Young will be added to the main cast of the upcoming thriller mystery K-drama Nine Puzzle. She will possibly work with brilliant actors Kim Da Mi and Son Seok Koo in the series.
Park Gyu Young's side hasn't responded to the casting reports.
If Park Gyu Young officially joins the K-drama, this will be her third upcoming K-drama project. The actress is highly anticipated in the upcoming Squid Game Season 2 with other new casts ZE: A's Yim Si Wan, Kang Ha Neul, Park Sung Hoon, Yang Dong Geun, Jo Yu Ri, Noh Jae Won, Won Ji An, and more. She is also expected to lead the upcoming K-drama Mangnaein with Kim Seon Ho, Lee So E, Lee Hong Nae, Jin Ho Eun, and Han Hyun Jun
Park Gyu Young recently starred in the K-drama A Good Day to Be a Dog which ended in January. She starred alongside Cha Eun Woo and showcased great chemistry. She was also praised for leading the 2023 Netflix original K-drama Celebrity.
Nine Puzzle will tell the story of Yi Na who was accused of being the killer of her beloved uncle. 10 years later, she becomes a profiler and will dig the truth about the murder with the help of her accuser, police officer Han Saem.
Aside from Kim Da Mi and Son Seok Koo, actors Hwang Jung Min, Lee Sung Min, Lee Hee Joon, and Kim Ye Won will also be part of the K-drama. These actors will be making a special appearance in the series.
Nine Puzzle will be helmed by director Yoon Jong Bin (Narco-Saints and The Spy Gone North) and writer Lee Eun Mi (Navillera and Tunnel).
The upcoming K-drama is currently under discussion on the release schedule and platform.
