On November 17, various media outlets shared that Park Bo Young will be joining Choi Woo Shik in the upcoming romantic comedy K-drama Melo Movie.
Park Bo Young's agency BH Entertainment promptly responded to the casting reports. According to the agency, Park Bo Young is positively reviewing the K-drama after receiving the offer."
Melo Movie will be the collaboration work of director Oh Choong Hwan (Castaway Diva, Hotel del Luna, and My Love from the Star) and writer Lee Na Eun (Our Beloved Summer).
The upcoming K-drama will tell the story of young people who are confidently facing their hardships and bad luck and now have finally found someone they can lean on to take a rest from all the struggles.
Park Bo Young got the offer to play the role of Kim Moo Bi. She started her career as a supporting actor and eventually became a movie director. She dreamt of being part of the film industry just like his father who was a filming staff.
Choi Woo Shik got the offer to play the role of Go Gyeom. He is a supporting actor in a film and he will narrate how he fell in love with director Kim Moo Bi whom he met on the set.
Melo Movie will reportedly premiere through an OTT platform. There is no confirmation yet on the release date of the upcoming romantic comedy K-drama.
