With his magnetic charisma and an emotionally charged performance, actor Lee Dong Wook (Goblin, Tale of the Nine-Tailed, Bad and Crazy) is returning to the big screen with the upcoming K-movie Single in Seoul (directed by Park Bum Soo). He is set to captivate audiences as Park Young Ho, a popular influencer and an instructor who revels in the joys of being single.
Single in Seoul is a melodrama film that tells the story of Park Young Ho, an instructor who enjoys being single, and Joo Hyun Jin, the editor-in-chief of a publishing company who dislikes being alone, as they collaborate on a book about singlehood.
The newly unveiled stills capture the charisma and simple life of Young Ho, a popular instructor.
The anticipation intensifies as we catch a glimpse of Young Ho lost in thought while working on the book.
We also see him teaching his students. In all the stills, he is dressed in a modest and understated fashion, befitting his role as an instructor.
Lee Dong Wook, in his portrayal of Young Ho, flawlessly embodies the character who finds solace in being single, as evident from the stills. By playing Young Ho, he adds an entirely new and dynamic character to his repertoire.
Sharing the screen space with Lee Dong Wook is the talented actress Im Soo Jung. She plays Joo Hyun Jin, the editor-in-chief collaborating with Young Ho on the book.
If Young Ho believes that being single leads a person to a peaceful life, Hyun Jin finds the idea of spending life without a partner absurd. Expectations are rising as to how the polar opposites will come together in the melodrama.
The K-movie also stars Esom, Lee Mi Do, Jang Hyun Sung, and Lee Sang Yi in supporting roles.
Single in Seoul will be released in theatres in South Korea on November 29.
