Lee Dong Wook and Kim So Yeon Slay It in the New Teaser of "Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938"

tvN just dropped another teaser of "Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938", and the characters are seen flaunting their action moves and stunts. 

The teaser shows Lee Dong Wook slaying people with his sword, and Kim So Yeon unsheathes her blade too. We also get a glimpse of Kim Bum in an undercut hairstyle. The tense mood, sick swordplay, and riveting plot hint at an exciting drama ahead.  

Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938 is set in the year 1938. The gumiho Lee Yeon (Lee Dong Wook) gets entangled in unexpected circumstances which cause him to travel back to the year 1938, the time when the Japanese ruled over the Korean peninsula. There, he reunites with Ryu Hong Joo (Kim So Yeon), a guardian spirit of a mountain in the west, who later - to blend into the world of human beings - becomes the owner of a high-end restaurant in Gyeongseong (the old name for Seoul).

Lee Yeon also meets his brother Lee Rang (Kim Bum). Due to some unforeseen circumstances, Lee Yeon gets on the bad side of Cheon Moo Young (Ryu Kyung Soo), a guardian spirit of a mountain in the east who used to be on good terms with the gumiho. Now, Lee Yeon is trapped in the past and struggles to find his way back to the future.

When and where to watch the K-drama Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938?

Episode 1 of Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938 will be released on May 6. More news about the K-drama's broadcast on OTT platforms is yet to come.
