Kim Mu Yeol replaces Kim Nam Gil in the upcoming controversial K-drama Get Schooled
Actress Kim Jung Young will join the cast of JTBC's soon-to-air K-drama The Tale of Lady Ok.
The upcoming K-drama will depict the life of a woman named Ok Tae Young. She is loved by the people around her but they don't know her secret. Her name, status, and husband are all fake. She will meet Cheon Seung Hwi, the person who is willing to risk his life to protect her.
Kim Jung Young will join Im Ji Yeon, Choo Young Woo, Yeonwoo, Kim Jae Won, Lee Jae Won, and Sung Dong Il in the upcoming K-drama.
The Tale of Lady Ok will be the joint work of director Jin Hyeok (Sisyphus: The Myth and The Legend of the Blue Sea) and writer Park Ji Sook (Uncle and The Spring Day of My Life).
Kim Jung Young will give life to the role of the mastermind who runs the tavern in the series. She becomes embroiled in a fateful encounter with the fugitive slave.
This will be the second K-drama that Kim Jung Young and Im Ji Yeon will star in. The two previously worked together in the hit Netflix original series The Glory.
The Tale of Lady Ok will premiere on November 30 at 10:30 PM KST. The JTBC K-drama will have a total of 16 episodes.
This will be the fifth K-drama of Kim Jung Young in 2024.
The actress also starred in the series The Midnight Romance in Hagwon, My Military Valentine, and Love Your Enemy. She also made a special cameo appearance in the hit SBS K-drama Good Partner.
After The Tale of Lady Ok, Kim Jung Young will join the upcoming 2025 K-drama Study Group led by NUEST's Hwang Min Hyun, Han Ji Eun, Cha Woo Min, Shin Soo Hyun, Lee Kwang Hee, and Lee Jong Hyun.
Kim Jung Young is known for being part of the cast of the K-dramas Arthdal Chronicles: The Sword of Aramun, My Perfect Stranger, The Glory, Summer Strike, Anna, and more.
