The upcoming Netflix film "The Great Flood" confirmed its main leads.
On August 2nd Netflix shared that Kim Da Mi and Park Hae Soo will be the main leads of the upcoming original film "The Great Flood." They will be working with director Kim Byung Woo who's the man behind the films "Take Point," "The Terror Live," and "Written."
"The Great Flood" is a science fiction disaster that will showcase the struggles of people who got trapped in a flooded apartment on earth's last day.
Kim Da Mi will play the role of Anna, an artificial intelligence development researcher who's struggling to survive a huge tsunami. Park Hae Soo on the other hand will play the role of Hee Jo, the head of the manpower security team who will try to rescue Anna.
"The Great Flood" will exclusively premiere on Netflix. There are no details yet on the broadcast date.
This will be the second upcoming film by Kim Da Mi. She will also appear in the movie "Soul Mate" with Jeon So Nee, Byeon Woo Seok, Kim Soo Hyung, and Nam Yoon Su. She also made a special appearance in the movie "The Witch: Part 2. The Other One."
Kim Da Mi was last seen in the drama "Our Beloved Summer" with Choi Woo Shik.
Meanwhile, this will also be the second upcoming movie of Park Hae Soo. He will first star in the film "Ghost" with Sol Kyung Gu, Lee Ha Nee, Park So Dam, Kim Dong Hee, Park Hae Soo, and Seo Hyun Woo. In 2022, Park Hae Soo has already starred in two Netflix content. He was part of the movie "Yaksha: Ruthless Operations" and "Money Heist: Korea - Joint Economic Area - Part 1." He will also return to "Money Heist: Korea - Joint Economic Area Part 2."
