Study Group is a high-school-themed action comedy that follows Yoon Ga Min (Hwang Min Hyun), who dreams of excelling academically but is only gifted in fighting. Joined in the worst school, he dives into the bloody world of competitive exams, forming a study group along the way. Based on the popular webtoon of the same name (written by Shin Hyung Wook, illustrated by Yoo Seung Yeon), the K-drama has garnered immense attention since its adaptation was announced.
Yoon Ga Min is a seemingly weak boy concealing immense strength who chooses to fight for the sake of studying. Together with other students, each with their own stories, they strive to protect their study group in a tale of growth.
The series is directed by Miracle: Letters to the Presiden's director Lee Jang Hoon, and written by rising talents Eom Seon Ho and Oh Bo Hyeon. The cast includes Hwang Min Hyun, Han Ji Eun, Cha Woo Min, Lee Jong Hyun, Shin Soo Hyun, Yoon Sang Jung, and Gong Do Yu.
