Han Ye Ri is confirmed to join the upcoming MBC K-drama The Intimate Traitor.
On April 8 it was officially confirmed that Han Ye Ri is joining Han Seok Kyu and Chae Won Bin as the main leads of the upcoming thriller mystery K-drama The Intimate Traitor.
This will be the official comeback K-drama of Han Ye Ri to the K-drama scene. She last starred in the 2021 series Hometown with Yoo Jae Myung, Uhm Tae Goo, Kim Sae Byeok, Choi Kwang Il, and Lee Re.
Last year, she made a special appearance in the series One Day Off.
Han Ye Ri made her acting debut in 2007. She has starred in various works such as My Unfamiliar Family, The Nokdu Flower, Switch: Change the World, Age of Youth, Six Flying Dragons, Secret Zoo, Illang: The Wolf Brigade, A Quiet Dream, The Hunt, and more.
This will also be Han Ye Ri's first project after she married in 2022.
The Intimate Traitor will reveal the dilemma Korea's top profiler experiences when he realizes his daughter's secret and connection to murder crimes.
The upcoming K-drama will be helmed by director Song Yeon Hwa (The Red Sleeve and Hunted).
Han Ye Ri will portray the role named Lee Eoh Jin. She is part of the the Criminal Behavior Analysis team and will work closely with Han Seok Kyu's character Jang Tae Soo, the team leader. Although she highly respects Jang Tae Soo, she also feels like the team leader is hiding something.
The Intimate Traitor will premiere in the second half of 2024. It will air on MBC and will be part of the Friday and Saturday K-drama timeslot of the broadcast channel.
