On July 17, several media outlets reported that Go Soo would join actress Cha Joo Young in leading the upcoming K-drama Reverse.
If Go Soo officially confirms his casting, this will be his follow-up work after the upcoming K-drama Parole Officer, Lee Han Shin.
This coming October, Go Soo will lead the upcoming series and work alongside Girls Generation's Kwon Yu Ri, Baek Ji Won, and Lee Hak Joo.
Go Soo is known for leading the K-dramas Missing: The Other Side, Money Game, Heart Surgeons, The Flower in Prison, Marrying a Millionaire, Green Rose, When A Man Loves A Woman, My Fair Lady, Age of Innocence, and more.
Last year, he also starred in the K-drama tvN O'PENing: Summer, Love Machine Blues with Oh My Girl's Arin, Yoon Jong Bin, Yoon Jae Chan, Park Young Soo, and Kim Tae Moon.
The upcoming K-drama Reverse will revolve around Myo Jin, who lost her memory because of an explosion that happened at a mysterious villa, and her fiancé, who will soon become the chairman of a large construction company. The story was previously released as an eight-part Naver audio movie.
Cha Joo Young got the offer to portray the role of Myo Jin who survived the explosion in a villa but lost all her memories due to shock. Go Soo on the other hand got the offer to portray the role of Jun Ho, the fiancé of Myo Jin who is the representative of the construction company.
According to reports, Reverse will begin filming in the second half of 2024. The filming will begin after the casting and production details are finalized.
