Go Hyun Jung is in discussion to star in a new Netflix original series titled "Mask Girl"
On November 25th, several media outlets shared that Go Hyun Jung will be the main lead for the upcoming Netflix original series "Mask Girl."
"Mask Girl" will tell the story of a woman who is an ordinary worker with an inferiority complex with her appearance. She's an internet broadcasting BJ who streams while covering her face with a mask. As she works as a BJ, she will encounter several incidents. The drama is based on a Naver webtoon with the same name. The drama will showcase revenge, comic, and thriller elements.
Go Hyun Jung received the offer to play the role of Kim Mo Mi. There is still no response on Go Hyun Jung's side if she will accept the drama.
The production is still casting the other members of the drama.
"Mask Girl" will be directed by Kim Yong Hoon who also helmed "Beasts Clawing at Straws" and "Yoon Hee." The drama aims to start filming next year.
Go Hyun Jung is currently starring in the JTBC drama "Reflection of You" with Shin Hyun Bin, Kim Jae Young, Choi Won Young, Kim Bo Yun, Shin Dong Wook, and more. If Go Hyun Joong accepts the offer, this will be her follow-up drama.
