Extraordinary Attorney Woo's Kang Tae Oh in talks to lead the historical K-drama
Girls Generation member Kwon Yu Ri will return to the big screen.
On December 12, media outlet Munhwa Ilbo shared a report revealing Kwon Yu Ri as the main lead of the upcoming mystery thriller genre film Mist. This will be the very first time that Kwon Yu Ri will take on the challenge of the mystery thriller genre.
The upcoming film Mist will revolve around an employee of a special cleaning company who handles and cleans the location of lonely deaths. The upcoming film will showcase complex and diverse psychology happening in these kinds of situations.
Kwon Yu Ri will portray the role of Kim Min, an employee of a special cleaning company.
The Girls Generation member shared her thoughts on starring in the upcoming film. Kwon Yu Ri shared, "I am excited to show a new side of me in this fresh new work. I will work hard to wrap up the film well healthily and enjoyable with responsibility. I hope you will look forward to the new movie."
This will be Kwon Yu Ri's comeback to the movie industry after three years. There is no official confirmation yet on the release date of Mist and which actors will join the upcoming mystery thriller film.
Kwon Yu Ri is currently starring in the variety program The Genius Paik Season 2. She will also return to the new season of The Zone: Survival Mission Season 3.
Aside from variety programs and the upcoming film, Kwon Yu Ri is also returning to the small screen with the upcoming K-drama Parole Officer, Lee Han Shin. She will work alongside top actor Go Soo in the upcoming law K-drama genre.
