Disney+'s Seoul Busters, starring Kim Dong Wook, Park Ji Hwan, Seo Hyun Woo, Park Se Wan, and Lee Seung Woo, is confirmed to be released on September 11.
Seoul Busters is a crime comedy K-drama depicting the journey of the country's lowest-ranked violent crimes unit teaming up with the elite team leader to solve cases.
The teaser reveals the quirky side of the detective team, who use a closed-down daycare center as their temporary headquarters instead of a police station. When Jang Tan Sik (Lee Seung Woo), looking at the tattered daycare center sign, says, "Jo(Eunso)mang Daycare?," Mu Jung Ryuk (Park Ji Hwan), Jung Jung Hwan (Seo Hyun Woo), and Seo Min Seo (Park Se Wan) stare at him in shock. With the addition of the elite new chief Dongbang Yu Bin (Kim Dong Wook), the quirky and lively characters of the detective team finally come together as one team.
Mu Jung Ryuk (Park Ji Hwan), the charismatic detective who investigates based on intuition; Jung Jung Hwan (Seo Hyun Woo), a family man risking his life for promotion; Seo Min Seo (Park Se Wan), the hot-tempered detective who is unhesitatingly honest; and Jang Tan Sik (Lee Seung Woo), the youngest detective — each character is anything but ordinary as hinted by the dialogue "They don't look strong at all, but somehow, they have a certain charm."
This leads to anticipation for the cheerful and comedic investigation drama promising to evoke laughter.
