Veteran actress Kim Soo Mi responds to concerns about her health
Choo Young Woo and Cho Yi Hyun will possibly work together again in a new fantasy romance K-drama.
On August 21, media outlets reported that Choo Young Woo and Cho Yi Hyun had been picked to lead the upcoming K-drama Gyeon Woo and Fairy.
Both actors' agencies responded to the casting reports. Choo Young Woo's agency, J Wide Company, shared, "The actor is positively considering his appearance in the new K-drama." In the same way, Cho Yi Hyun's agency, Artist Company, stated, "The actress did receive the offer, and she is positively reviewing it."
Gyeon Woo and Fairy is a fantasy romance K-drama that revolves around a high school student who is also a shaman who will try her best to save her dying first love. The K-drama will be based on the webtoon of the same name by writer Ahn Soo Min.
The upcoming K-drama will be the next work of director Kim Yong Wan who also created the works The Whirlwind, If You Wish Upon Me, The Cursed, and more.
According to reports, Gyeon Woo and Fairy will premiere on tvN in 2025 and it will have a total of 12 episodes.
Cho Yi Hyun got the offer to portray the role of Sung Ah. She is a high school girl during the day and a shaman at night. She will try her best with the skills that she has to save her dying first love.
Choo Young Woo on the other hand got the offer to play the role of Gyeon Woo. He does not believe in gods or shamans.
The two have previously worked together in the 2021 K-drama School 2021. If they confirm their casting, this will be their reunion project after four years.
