Actress Choi Hee Jin is one of the members of the Kang Group in the K-drama The Impossible Heir.
On February 28, it was officially confirmed that Choi Hee Jin is part of the cast of the Disney+ K-drama The Impossible Heir.
The Impossible Heir tells the story of an illegitimate son of a Korean conglomerate and his ambitious childhood friend and their journey in conquering the company to be part of the top of society.
The K-drama is led by Lee Jae Wook, UKISS Lee Jun Young, Hong Su Zu, Lee Ji Hoon, and Choi Jin Ho.
In the series, Choi Hee Ji portrays the role of Kang Hee Joo. She is the youngest daughter of the Kang family. She is the person who gives Lee Jun Young's character a warm welcome after he finally enters the Kang family. She also falls in love with her tutor, Lee Jae Wook's character, at first sight, but she is rejected by him.
The Impossible Heir premiered its first two episodes today. The upcoming episodes will be released every Wednesday on Disney+.
The K-drama is helmed by director Min Yeon Hong (Insider and Missing: The Other Side) and scriptwriter Choi Won (Miss Butcher and Baby & I).
This is Choi Hee Jin's first project for 2024.
Last year, she impressed viewers with her acting in Strong Girl Namsoon. She portrayed as the fake Namsoon and tries to steal from Namsoon's mother Hwang Geum Joo, portrayed by Kim Jung Eun.
She also made a special cameo appearance in the K-dramas Behind Your Touch and D.P. Season 2.
Choi Hee Jin made her acting debut in 2018. She has starred in the K-dramas Snowdrop, The Best Ending, Hide and Seek, Lovely Horribly, and more.
