Child actor Moon Woo Jin will star as the younger version of WEi's Kim Yo Han in the upcoming KBS drama "School 2021"
According to several reports on November 5th, Moon Woo Jin has confirmed to join the upcoming Wednesday-Thursday drama "School 2021."
The upcoming series will be helmed by Kim Min Tae and written by Dong Hee Seon and Jo Ah Ra. "School 2021" is the much-awaited installment of the KBS school drama tradition. KBS has released a school series type of drama since 1999. The last school series was "School 2017" starring Kim Se Jeong, Kim Jung Hyun, and Jang Dong Yoon.
"School 2021" will depict the story of students studying at a specialized high school. These young people are chasing after their dreams and ambitions instead of being like everyone who naturally prepares to go to college.
The upcoming series will be led by Wei's Kim Yo Han, Choo Young Woo, Jo Yi Hyun, Kim Kang Min, Jun Suk Ho, Yoon Yi Reh, and more.
Moon Woo Jin will play the role of young Gong Ki Jun. He is a character who dreams of becoming a Taekwondo player. He lost that dream in an instant because of an injury.
"School 2021" will air on November 17th at 9:30 PM KST. The drama can be viewed through KBS and the streaming platform Viki.
"School 2021" will be Moon Woo Jin's first official drama for this year. He was supposed to star in the discontinued drama "Joseon Exorcist." He also made a special appearance in the 2021 drama "The Devil Judge."
