Byun Yo Han will reportedly lead the new Tazza movie.
On November 27, media outlet The Fact shared that the movie Tazza will have a new installment and actor Byun Yo Han will be the main lead of the film.
Tazza has already four movie installments. The first ever Tazza 1: The High Rollers premiered in 2006. Followed by the second one Tazza 2: The Hidden Card which was released in 2014. The third installment Tazza 3: One-Eyed Jacks was released in Korean theaters in 2019. After almost six years, the new installment of Tazza will possibly be produced.
Byun Yo Han's agency shared their official statement regarding the casting reports. According to them, "Byun Yo Han received the offer to lead the new Tazza and he is currently reviewing it. Nothing has been decided yet."
Tazza's story is based on the webtoon of the same name by Heo Young Man and Kim Se Yeong. It revolves around people who are tied to gambling due to certain circumstances.
Byun Yo Han got the offer to portray the role of Jang Tae Young, the main character of the fourth Tazza installment.
The new Tazza film will be the next work of director Choi Kook Hee, the same director of the films No Way Out: The Roulette, Life Is Beautiful, and Default.
This will possibly be Byun Yo Han's second upcoming film.
The renowned actor is also set to lead the new movie Pavane for the Dead Princess with Go Ah Sung and Moon Sang Min.
This year, he also led the movie Following alongside Shin Hye Sun, Lee El, Yoon Byung Hee, Park Ye Ni, and Shim Dal Gi.
Byun Yo Han will also star in the upcoming K-drama Reborn and will work alongside Esom.
